DoctorLaptop’s famous Annual Clean & TuneUp Service €60: For Windows & Mac. New “fileless” malware formats evade standard anti-virus programs, making it difficult for typical users to “dis-infect” computers themselves with free, consumer level tools.  If you rely on your computer and want it running at peak performance an annual professional servicing with advanced professional grade tools is necessary. You wouldn’t drive your car till it runs out of oil before servicing it, would you? If you did, the engine replacement  will cost far more than if you had properly maintained it with monthly oil topups and an oil change once or twice a year. It’s the same with computers, you should do a quick cleanup yourself once a month, and get an annual professional service. I do the most comprehensive cleaning and tune-up possible: verify all System files and permissions, replacing any found to be corrupt, test all hardware and do hard disk sector repairs if needed, use a 5 tool malware/adware/spyware removal protocol, clean out junk files/logs/history/etc., update Windows/Mac+all drivers+programs and finally optimize your settings and registry for fastest overall performance. Job usually completed overnight. Heavily infected comps or those showing error messages need a repair, not a maintenance service. Computers that have been cleaned by me in the past year get €10 off. (Yes, I can check this.) Hard disks of 1000Gb or more add €10 and may require 2 days to complete.
ALSO: Computer and tablet repairs, lessons, websites/blogs/forums/SEO, business computer maintenance & security service. Free shopping service, send me your requirements, I’ll find you the best deals!
Windows, Apple/Mac, Linux and Android all serviced.

Curries with a difference- The Curry House Rules: If you live inland in Andalucia, around Viñuela and Puente don Manuel in particular, we’d like to draw your attention to a different curry experience. We make and deliver fresh, homemade authentic Sri Lankan curries, which are very different from the sort you will find in Indian restaurants. We deliver free of charge to those areas (not to campo areas), and to Torrox by arrangement. We can also deliver to other areas with a small delivery charge. You can specify the level of heat for our curries, and we have a full range of meat and vegetarian/vegan curries (aubergine, carrot, garlic, and potato as only a few examples). Please also see our Facebook page: FB Link

Please see our advertisement attached and our Facebook page: Facebook.com/Axarcare. Based in Arenas.

Windows 10 Users Must Read This!!! Please also read the Forbes article linked below!!!
Windows 10: Problems after this week’s updates include lost wifi connectability, inability to login, black screens, broken VPNs, missing desktop icons, lost data folders, etc. I had my complete Firefox installation disappear; no trace left, even the program files were deleted! I had to do a clean reinstall and reinsert all my bookmarks and passwords from my backup. ( If this happens to you, shut the computer immediately and bring it to me, I can probably recover your old Firefox with all the bookmarks and settings as they were. ) Some users have lost all their data folders, photos, docs, everything!
Update KB4532693 is the culprit, uninstall it immediately, and then block it, instructions are in the links provided below!!!
In many cases damage is not recoverable or requires an expert to do the complex recovery. Note that Google is censoring most articles discussing this Windows problem, use duckduckgo.com to search for info. Here is Forbes Magazine’s take on the problem: Full info: https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2020/02/19/new-windows-10-update-starts-causing-serious-problems/#7d1a85887a7e

How to Delay Windows Updates For A Month: From Settings, Open Windows Updates, Click Advanced Options, Scroll down to Pause Updates, Click the dropdown menu arrow, Choose the date that gives the longest pause. Then click the Back arrow at the top left of the window to go back one step, check that it now says you have paused Updates. You should be able to pause them for a month. Hopefully a month is long enough for Microsoft to sort this out. I will alert you here if you need to extend the Paused Updates setting.
Please be careful doing these fixes, if you make a mistake you could remove something you really need, and break your system. Don’t worry, if this happens I can usually fix it, but it’s not easy. DoctorLaptop 675 993 069, keep in mind my appointment book is filling up quickly. doctorlaptop@protonmail.com ; Please do not use the DigameXtra submissions email for DoctorLaptop business. Always include your computer make and model when emailing for support. Here is a pic of a conversation DigameXtra reader J.B. had with Microsoft support today- their link takes you to the same place as the link I provided in my alert earlier today, and above, for uninstalling the bad update. Microsoft must be DigameXtra readers too.

Spain detects 10 new cases of coronavirus in 36 hours: A new positive is reported in Seville, adding to the patients in Madrid, Catalonia, the Valencia region and Tenerife. A man has been hospitalized in Seville after testing positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus, bringing to 10 the number of cases reported in Spain in the last 36 hours.
For the first time on Tuesday, the Spanish Health Ministry recommended that Spaniards restrict their journeys abroad. Minister Salvador Illa stated that unless it is strictly necessary, Spaniards do not go to four Italian regions – Lombardia, Piamonte, Emilia-Romana and Veneto – Japan, Iran, South Korea, Singapore and China. “There is no prohibition,” he said, “but unless it is essential, do not go to a risk zone. It’s common sense.”
The Health Ministry has raised the risk of local transmission from low to moderate. The measure has been taken “out of prudence” and to ensure that “the health systems are alert,” said Fernando Simón, director of the Coordination Center for Health Alerts and Emergencies. “In most of the country the risk is low. In the areas where there are cases, clearly the risk is moderate, and it could even be high,” said the health official at a news conference on Wednesday. (There is no reason to panic, but should you be located in an area designated as quarantined things could change quickly. If a case is confirmed locally you could be instructed to self-quarantine for 14 days to a month, as has happened in several cities in north Italy. Be prepared and informed. Have a response plan for your family, keep extra food stored and keep a box of N-95 masks on hand just in case. Better safe than sorry and looking at empty shop shelves! -Ed.)

Germany warning over a virus epidemic: New cases brought Germany’s total to 21. The government said late Wednesday in a statement it would establish an emergency task force regarding the coronavirus outbreak.
“We are at the beginning of a coronavirus epidemic in Germany,” Health Minister Jens Spahn told reporters.
Officials in North Rhine-Westphalia state said earlier Wednesday that the 47-year-old infected man was from Gangelt, near the Dutch border, and that he had been in contact with countless people in recent days, including during Carnival parties and while visiting a Cologne hospital for an unrelated health checkup. The head of Cologne’s health department, Johannes Niessen, said the man had come into contact with 41 people, including several doctors and nurses, at least one of whom was showing symptoms of illness.
Stephan Pusch, who heads the district administration in Heinsberg, where the case occurred, said Wednesday that schools and kindergartens in the area would remain shut until Monday. He urged people who display symptoms of illness to stay at home and contact their doctors by phone. https://apnews.com/230fa2d2e2891ab2ccb6d9c8a5f479bf

Antisemitism row breaks out after Spanish town stages Holocaust parade for carnival: It wouldn’t be carnival in Spain without a bit of controversy over chosen themes. But one town in Spain has really taken it too far.
Young children paraded through the streets with yellow stars sewn to their left lapels, dancers in striped pyjamas waving Israeli flags and behind them officers in SS Waffen uniforms toting machine guns.
Welcome to the carnival procession in Las Mesas, a town in Cuenca province of Castilla-La Mancha, when a cultural association chose the Holocaust as their theme for celebration.
The display continued with a swastika wearing dominatrix brandishing her whip and flanked by dobermans atop a float designed to recreate Auschwitz, complete with twin chimneys.
The whole procession was choreographed to a Rosalia song. Another float represented the gates of the death camp with the infamous slogan “Arbeit macht frei“ – work sets you free” and yet another was a representation of a German tank.
Watch a video clip of the carnival parade below. Source: https://www.thelocal.es/20200225/antisemitism-row-breaks-out-after-spanish-town-stages-holocaust-parade-for-carnival
