Parking at Minigolf La Herradura:
-Important Notice: Mingolf La Herradura will be closed until Friday 4 August. I will confirm, I hope, the reopening in next Friday’s DigameXtra Sponsor’s post. Sorry for any inconvenience.

-High Season Parking: After some heavy lifting, measuring and painting the first two-thirds of the Minigolf La Herradura plot is now home to 20 parking spaces available for daily parking. If you are planning on spending the day in La Herradura this summer holiday, you could not ask for a more central location.
There is a large bathroom available as well as a picnic table where self-catering is allowed. Security cameras cover the entire plot. You could almost call this “boutique” parking. As such I highly recommend that you call in advance for reservations.
-Opening Hours and Admission fee: A daily pass costs 10 euros with opening hours every day from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The price of admission includes unlimited access to the Minigolf course itself with parking included subject to availability. (You can pay for admission and only use the parking area if you like, it’s a bit too hot for Mingolf at present, but the 10€ is billed as Minigolf.)
-“Guerilla” nine-hole course: The full 18-hole course is complete and easily playable. It has tucked in nicely at the back in the space previously used for racquet sports and one petanca lane. The only difference from before is shorter spacing from one hole to the next.
The second petanca lane has been converted into what I refer to as the nine hole “guerilla” course, the reason being that you decide the layout of the holes in whatever sneaky way you prefer. Nine actual holes are provided and there are various obstacles spread about. The players then decide how they want to arrange them, and where the hole will begin. It’s a fun way to create longer “holes” criss-crossing each other and there is no wrong design. A lot of fun in a small space.

Laptop buyer alert: I am seeing a wave of “reconditioned laptops” offered for sale on Amazon.es, that have Windows 11 installed. Many of these devices are more than 5 years old and do not, in fact, meet Microsoft’s minimum processor requirements for Windows 11! The sellers have used a hack to allow Windows 11 to be installed on these ineligible devices. This hack disables important security functions, makes the operating system unstable & prone to errors, blocks some recovery options and may block the laptop from receiving Windows updates. Repair shops may refuse to work on a hacked laptop, as repair tools become unreliable on hacked systems. These laptops can not be updated to Windows 12, which is expected to be released in Fall 2024. UFOs and alien remains being held from US public, whistleblower claims at Congress hearing:
– A former US intelligence analyst testified in Congress on Wednesday that the government was hiding information about UFOs and “non-human biologics”. David Grusch said he “absolutely” believed the US was in possession of unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAPs – which has replaced the term UFO in official parlance – and remains of their non-human operators.

– A prominent digital privacy campaign group on Thursday filed a complaint against Ryanair in Spain, alleging the popular budget carrier was pushing customers to undergo an “invasive facial recognition process”.
– Austria’s NYOB said some customers of the Irish no-frills airline were required to go though “a mandatory ‘verification process’ involving invasive facial recognition” when booking through an online travel agent rather than directly on the company’s website or app. Noyb said one complaint came from a customer from Spain who booked a Ryanair flight through the Barcelona-based online travel agency eDreams and then received an email from Ryanair requesting her to complete a “verification process” with a face scan.
