New €7,200 Aid Scheme For Self-Employed In Andalusia:
– As of the end of July, self-employed individuals in Andalucia can benefit from two subsidy lines, with a total funding of €578,000. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2023.
– The first line of aid is for those looking to employ someone to care for their children under three. The second is for hiring a replacement during periods of pregnancy risk, childbirth, adoption, or foster care.
– Applications for both subsidies can be made online via the Electronic Headquarters of the Junta de Andalucía, using an electronic certificate. Once submitted, the administration will take up to six months to process and notify the applicant. Torrox prepares to experience the 15th San Roque Pilgrimage: {Translation, summary}
– The Torrox Town Hall is collaborating in the XV Romería de San Roque, patron saint of the town, which will be held this Sunday 27 August on the plain set up for the occasion next to the mouth of the river.
– Sunday’s activities will begin at 11:30 a.m. with mass in honour of the patron saint in the hermitage in the Plaza de San Roque, at whose gates the poster has been unveiled. At around 12:00 hours, the pilgrimage will set off from the aforementioned square towards Calle Fuente, Pontil and the ring road. At the La Granja sports complex there will be a short stop for refreshments.
– From this point, the pilgrimage will continue along Avenida de Cómpeta, Calle Almedina, Las Protegidas and the Barranco Plano area, where another break is planned so that the horses of the participants can also refresh themselves. From there the pilgrimage will take the road until it reaches the Avenida del Faro and the esplanade of the Torrox River.
– At around 15:00 there will be a free paella for all the participants and the choirs Aires del Faro, from Torrox Costa, Las Nieves and Almedina, the latter two from Torrox, will perform. The party will continue with the group Onda Sonora and a ribbon race with the corresponding prize-giving ceremony. – A forest fire has been declared in Marbella, specifically in the area of La Montúa. The Andalusian forest fire-fighting service, Plan Infoca, is fighting a fire that broke out this Wednesday in a spot in this municipality in Malaga, close to houses.
