Theater Show- MIRAGE – The Black Mirror: Friday 29 Sep 8pm
Centro Cultural Villa de Nerja, Calle Granada, 45, Nerja
A vision from the other side of the mirror… The audience, like innocent Alice, will go through the glass into the depths of the Black Mirror: a dark world where light reigns, where elegant, irreverent, tender, perverse, lonely, provocative creatures live, souls full of corrosive and mocking humour.
An androgynous and extravagant character out of the darkness, helped by three puppeteers, will immerse us in a parallel world from the other side of the glass. This is a mirror that deforms what it sees to show us, shamelessly, our sins and baseness. Music, light, darkness, objects, puppets and actors come in and out of the mirror, a mirror that will trap them to devour them whole, like a great black hole.

We are a Torrox-based company specialising in the creation of formulae which help prevent premature skin ageing. We are committed to making effective products at affordable prices.
Your skin health matters to us. How you feed your skin is as important as how you feed your body. Why settle for anything less than natural and organic?
As our skin is the first layer of our defence against microbial infections, ultraviolet radiation and environmental contamination it plays a vital role in our health. As we grow older, however, our skin becomes thinner, wrinkled, and more sensitive; hence it requires the use of treatments containing specific ingredients to the care of treating mature skin.
Recognising this need we have created a range of formulae which help
-slow down ageing process by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
-improve facial complexion and eliminate blemishes.
At Moonette, we are passionate about health, beauty and plants. Your skin will benefit from the properties of botanic essential oils combined with a selection of nutrients for deep hydration, cell revitalization and antioxidant effect, all sourced from the finest natural ingredients with gorgeous fragrances.
Naturally, we care about our planet and feel the need to help reduce the sheer volumes of plastics waste that are generated daily around the globe. Presently, we are minimizing the usage of plastic materials in our production while seeking alternative forms of packaging. SPAIN

Junts and CKD agree to block the investiture of Sanchez if he does not negotiate an independence referendum- Both formations have come to an agreement in the Catalan Parliament to raise the price of the investiture of Sánchez: {Translation, summary}
– The competition between Junts per Catalunya (JxCat) and ERC over who puts more pressure on Pedro Sánchez has ended with a joint motion for a resolution in the Catalan autonomous parliament in which the two separatist forces threaten the Socialist leader with not supporting his investiture if he does not also commit to negotiating, in addition to the amnesty, a referendum on self-determination.
– “The Parliament is in favour of the Catalan political forces represented in the Spanish parliament not supporting the investiture of a future Spanish government that does not commit to working to make the conditions for holding the referendum effective,” reads the resolution arbitrated in extremis by JxCat and ERC, which also has the support of the CUP. The text will be voted on this Friday in the regional chamber.
– After months of strong disagreements and weeks of harsh confrontations over the investiture of Sánchez, JxCat and ERC have signed a resolution that makes it even more difficult for Sánchez to revalidate the post of president of the government. Puigdemont’s party and Junqueras’ party were at loggerheads over who was extracting more concessions from the socialists and Sumar until Thursday when they agreed on a resolution that could derail the negotiations.
– ERC got ahead of Junts by introducing the referendum in the conditions for the investiture, but Puigdemont’s party has reacted and joined this request. In theory, both parties want Sánchez to agree to negotiate during the 15th legislature the conditions for holding a referendum on self-determination in Catalonia.
– Both republicans and post-convergentes take the amnesty for granted, which is why they have decided to introduce a new condition in the negotiations to invest Sánchez. In the PSOE they considered that the discrepancies and disagreements between the independentistas would facilitate the negotiations, but the last-minute move could reduce Sánchez’s options. AXARQUIA

Periana has new water cuts: The village of Periana in Malaga province’s Axarquía area has become the latest built-up area to nighttime cuts to its water supply. A year ago restrictions were brought in for people living in rural areas outside the village when water from the Guaro well became undrinkable. However, as of Wednesday 27 September, the restrictions also apply to the village itself.
– Periana’s mayor Rafael Torrrubia has issued a decree stating that, “as a result of the prolonged drought, the scarcity of water resources of the Guaro well and to guarantee the supply in the coming months, we are forced to extend the temporary suspension of the water supply to the village of Periana”. The water supply will be cut from 11am to 7pm.
– The mayor apologised to the residents and tourists for this situation, but explained, “We are trying to avoid what happened last year, when the level of the Guaro well dropped so low that a lot of silt and mud got into the pipes and the water became undrinkable.”
– The Axarquía’s Viñuela reservoir is at an all-time low, below eight per cent of its capacity, with just 13.1 cubic hectometres stored as of Tuesday 26 September, compared to 17 a year ago.
– The twelve towns and villages in Malaga province that are already experiencing nighttime water restrictions are: Vélez-Málaga, Benamargosa, Iznate, El Borge, Almáchar, Moclinejo, Periana, Sedella, Casabermeja, Almogía, Villanueva de la Concepción and the area south of Torcal de Antequera.

– The Harp Bar, located on Avenida de España in Calahonda , was destroyed by the flames, which startled residents in the area at around 5.20am. SPACE

How to see the Harvest Moon, the final supermoon of 2023:
– Officially full at 5:58 a.m. EDT (11:58 am Malaga) on Friday, Sept. 29, the full moon will be best seen rising in the east later that day at the time of moonrise where you are. It will be in the constellation Pisces. The moon will appear bright and full the day before and after, as well. A couple of evenings later, on Sunday, Oct. 1, the moon – by that time 90% illuminated and in the constellation Aries – will shine close to Jupiter.
– This year’s Harvest Moon will be the fourth and final supermoon of 2023, occurring two days after it reaches perigee, the closest point in its orbit of Earth. Because the moon will be a little closer to Earth than average, it will appear slightly bigger and brighter than usual.
– The most popular name for September’s full moon is the Harvest Moon because it rises close to sunset for a few evenings in a row and gives farmers extra moonlight to help them bring in the harvest. PETS

Animal welfare law arrives- you won’t be able to leave your dog alone tied up in a supermarket and you will have to neuter your cat: {Translation, summary}
– This regulation is essential for future obligations that cannot yet be applied, such as the civil liability insurance for dogs, the course for all pet owners -not only dogs-, or the registration of all animals including birds and rodents. Among the novelties that do apply as of this Friday are the obligation to sterilise all cats except those owned by breeders, the zero slaughter of pets in animal shelters and penalties for leaving a dog tied up and unsupervised in a supermarket, on a balcony or inside an empty car. Hunting dogs and dogs for professional use are outside the scope of the law.
– The law prohibits keeping animals “tethered or roaming in public spaces without the face-to-face supervision” of their handler. “People will no longer be allowed to leave their dog at the door of the supermarket,” says Sergio García Torres, director general of Animal Rights. The penalty, which is light, can range from 500 to 10,000 euros, and depends on local councils and autonomous communities. Nuria Menéndez de Llano, director of the Observatorio de Justicia y Defensa Animal, says: “Leaving an animal tied up for a minute to go in to buy bread is not a problem, but leaving it in the sun for an hour to go into a shopping centre is, because it can become dehydrated, there may be a risk of mistreatment or of being attacked by another dog. Tennis News- Schedule of Carlos Alcaraz’s debut at the ATP 500 in Beijing, where to watch live, online and on TV from Spain: {Translation}
– Carlos Alcaraz, after his elimination in the semifinals of the US Open against Daniil Medvedev, returns to the tennis courts with the ambition and illusion of debuting for the first time in the ATP 500 in Beijing , the first major tournament of the Asian tour.
– The Murcian will face Yannick Hanfmann , a rival from the previous phase , and will do so during this coming Friday, September 29. A draw that is loaded with almost all the Top 10, but where the world number one, Novak Djokovic, is missing. The Serb will not return to the courts until the Paris-Bercy Masters 1,000, so Carlitos will have a golden opportunity to cut points in the ATP rankings.
– The debut of Carlitos Alcaraz on the slopes of Beijing will be this coming Friday, September 29. The Murcian will face in the last turn of the day, not before 6.30 in the morning in Spain, the German Yannick Hanfmann, who has beaten the Serbian Dusan Lajovic in the last step of the previous phase.
– All the matches of the former world number one at the ATP 500 in Beijing can be followed, exclusively, on Movistar + (Movistar Deportes). In addition, this company will have several enabled channels (TV, platforms and app) where they will broadcast all the matches of the tournament. Dutch Court Upholds Its Decision to Ban David Icke From Entering Schengen Area:
– A court of the Netherlands in Haarlem has defended the decision to ban the British “conspiracy theorist” David Icke from entering the Schengen Area. The Dutch Secretary, Eric van der Burg, imposed a two-year ban on Icke last year with the argument that he could be a potential threat to public order.
– Following the ban, Icke rejected such an argument, saying that he could not be banned on such a pretext and, at the same time, noting that the Netherlands was breaking free speech rights.
– However, through an official ruling released earlier this week, the court said that it agrees with the reasoning of the State Secretary, suggesting that the decision to ban Icke is lawful, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports. As the NL Times explains, the court also acknowledged the right to freedom of expression while emphasising that these rights have their limits.
– Now that the court has announced its decision on the matter, Icke has four weeks to decide whether he wants to appeal the verdict, the NL Time notes. In case he decides to appeal the verdict, the case will then go to the highest administrative court in the Netherlands.
