MALAGA PROVINCE
When will the rain arrive in Malaga and on the Costa del Sol, and how much is forecast to fall?:
– Everyone will need to wait a few more days for the much-needed rain to arrive after it was initially forecast for Malaga province from this Monday (16 October).
– According to the latest data, the highly-anticipated rain won’t now fall in any great quantity until Thursday 18 October. The weather models predict between 50 and 100mm of rain throughout the day on Thursday. But no more rainfall is expected after that for the rest of the week.
– A drop in temperatures will follow the rainfall on Thursday. In Malaga city it will go from 26-27 degrees (this Monday) to 24 on Thursday; 23-22 on Friday and Saturday and 21 on Sunday, which will be the coldest day, even below normal for this time of year. Minimum temperatures will also drop from 20 degrees to 14-15 in Malaga city this weekend.

Newborn baby girl rushed to hospital after being found abandoned in a Malaga street:
– The baby girl was found about 8.30am in Cruz de Humilladero on Saturday 14 October. According to the person who raised the alarm, they found the little girl, who was only a few hours old, alone and on the ground at the end of Calle Actriz La Tirana, near the Parque del Duende.

Traffic accident kills woman in Torrox on Sunday: {Translation}
– A woman has died this past Sunday after colliding her vehicle with a car that was parked in the municipality of Torrox (Málaga), according to Emergencias 112 Andalucía.
– The accident occurred in Calle José Ariza at around 13.00 hours on Sunday when 112 received a call alerting that a woman driver had lost control of a car and had collided with another which was parked in the area of Las Protegidas.
– The 061 Health Emergency Centre was activated, which mobilised a helicopter and an ambulance, the Guardia Civil, the Provincial Fire Brigade and the Local Police. When the emergency services arrived at the scene, they unsuccessfully performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the driver of the car, who finally died at the scene of the accident. Beware Of This Android Trojan Malware That Records Keystrokes, Calls, Camera & SMSs- The Only Fix Is A Full System Reinstall:
– The Android banking trojan known as SpyNote has been dissected to reveal its diverse information-gathering features. Typically spread via SMS phishing campaigns, attack chains involving the spyware tricking potential victims into installing the app by clicking on an embedded link, according to F-Secure.
– Besides requesting invasive permissions to access call logs, camera, SMS messages, and external storage, SpyNote is known for hiding its presence from the Android home screen and the Recents screen in a bid to make it difficult to avoid detection. It stays hidden on the victim’s device making it challenging to notice. It also makes uninstallation extremely tricky. The victim is eventually left only with the option of performing a factory reset, losing all data, thereby, in the process. (Evidently the phone manufacturers are not concerned. They expect you to replace your device every 2 to 3 years anyway, so don’t expect any patches to address this in the short term.
