DigameXtra & DoctorLaptop To Close All Fakebook Accounts Effective Immediately

The End Of Facebook As We Know It- The New User Agreement + €120/yr Fee To Remove 3rd Party Ads

Fakebook has updated their terms of service, effective January 12, 2024:
– To access your FB account now you are greeted with a User Agreement Update announcement. If you have not received it yet, it will arrive soon, depending on your device and operating system. You must accept these new changes (“use for free”) or pay their fee (“Subscribe”), or you are blocked from even seeing your FB page! No advance warning so you could save things before making the choice. That’s outrageous, they are holding user’s data hostage to force you to accept these new terms or pay their blackmail fee. Those of you that saw this message and clicked “use for free”, without reading the info, can expect more spam messages/calls/emails and unauthorized credit card charges, as now more data than ever will pass from Fakebook, thru their partners, on into the public domain.
– This is being done in response to new EU regulations created to protect the public. Fakebook’s data collection, tracking and tracing has become so invasive it is, as of 2024, illegal in the EU unless you give specifically give your consent to a bunch of new invasions of privacy.
– I refuse to consent. So I am shutting down all DigameXtra and DoctorLaptop Fakebook accounts. DigameXtra will no longer post anything related to Fakebook, with the exception of links to DigameXtra Sponsor FB pages.
– Users are now going to be charged €9.99 per month for only one account, add €6 per month for each additional account, to use Fakebook without third party ads, although they will still show their own ads and those of their “partners”, and increase their surveillance of you. And if you pay, FB and all their friends will have your full credit card info.
– To see all the changes and new data collection policies, you must read thru many pages, and follow links to other pages. I spent several hours wading thru all this crap and it seems every info page, at the end, prompts you to visit another page with even more info on these changes. This link is the starting point for those of you that wish to see the new terms for themselves. I provide a summary below: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy?section_id=18-LegalBasisInformationConsent
– If you opt to continue using Fakebook without a paid subscription, you must now accept an agreement allowing them to track all your internet activity, and scan your all your devices (including photos in your private Camera Roll folder, and private FB messages), and to share all this data with their business partners. This applies to the website version, and all Fakebook apps. Here are some, but not all, of what Fakebook will collect and share:
*Content you create, like posts, comments, messages, photos and audio/video
*Content you provide through our camera feature or your camera roll settings, or through our voice-enabled features
*Messages you send and receive, including their content
*Metadata about content and messages
*Types of content you view or interact with on your devices, and how you interact with it
*Apps and features you use, and what actions you take in them
*Purchases or other transactions you make, including truncated credit card information
*Hashtags you use
*The time, frequency and duration of your activities on FB
*Device characteristics and device software
*What other non-Facebook tasks you’re doing on your device, and mouse behavior
*Identifiers that tell your device apart from other users’
*Device signals
*Information you’ve entered into your device settings
*Location-related information
*Information about the network you connect your device to, including your IP address
*Information from cookies and similar tracking technologies
*We collect information about friends, followers, groups, accounts, Facebook Pages and other users and communities you’re connected to and interact with. This includes how you interact with them across our Products and which ones you interact with the most.
*We also collect your contacts’ information, such as their name and email address or phone number.

MOONETTE – Organic Skincare for Mature Skin

We are a Torrox-based company specialising in the creation of formulae which help prevent premature skin ageing. We are committed to making effective products at affordable prices.
Your skin health matters to us. How you feed your skin is as important as how you feed your body. Why settle for anything less than natural and organic?
As our skin is the first layer of our defence against microbial infections, ultraviolet radiation and environmental contamination it plays a vital role in our health. As we grow older, however, our skin becomes thinner, wrinkled, and more sensitive; hence it requires the use of treatments containing specific ingredients to the care of treating mature skin.
Recognising this need we have created a range of formulae which help
-slow down ageing process by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
-improve facial complexion and eliminate blemishes.
At Moonette, we are passionate about health, beauty and plants. Your skin will benefit from the properties of botanic essential oils combined with a selection of nutrients for deep hydration, cell revitalization and antioxidant effect, all sourced from the finest natural ingredients with gorgeous fragrances.
Naturally, we care about our planet and feel the need to help reduce the sheer volumes of plastics waste that are generated daily around the globe. Presently, we are minimizing the usage of plastic materials in our production while seeking alternative forms of packaging. Inflammation – A Psychological Thriller:
– Set in London, Brighton, Oxford, and Málaga; this fast paced novel follows Adam, a Psychologist, as he struggles to cope with life after the brutal murder of his truest love, Lorelei, at the hands of her abusive ex-partner. In the midst of his grief, and the guilt from his sense of having failed her; he lives on countdown, awaiting the release of the perpetrator. Furious with a criminal justice system that by its very nature only ever acts after the event, and increasingly feeling the need to do something for the cause in the meantime; the obsessive urge to intervene using his psychological skills, overpowers him. Will he even make it to the release date, or will he already have gone too far?
– I wrote this novel in and around Málaga province; in Torrox and Nerja particularly. It is a psychological/suspense/crime thriller, and would certainly be rated 18+ in places. It is available on Amazon in paperback and ebook in various countries. The links for the UK and Spain are below, and it is best to order it from where you currently are, and/or to where you would like it delivered. I very much hope you enjoy it (please leave a nice amazon review if so); and a big heartfelt thank you to anyone who orders it, and in doing so, is supporting an independent author.

Former president of the PP in Catalonia and founder of Vox shot in the face “at point-blank range” in mid-day Madrid assassination attempt: {Translation, summary}
– The former president of the PP of Catalonia and founder of Vox, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, 78, was shot in the face at around 13.30 this Thursday when he was walking down the street of Núñez de Balboa, in the centre of Madrid, according to sources from the National Police told EL PAÍS. Vidal-Quadras was taken by the emergency services, conscious and in a serious condition, to the Gregorio Marañón hospital, where he has been admitted. The victim has a gunshot wound in the jaw area with an entrance and exit wound, although there is no fear for his life, according to police sources. The gunman fled on a black motorbike, driven by another individual wearing a helmet.
– Witnesses say that when the attacker saw the politician, who was walking alone in the area after having attended mass, he approached him and shot him at point-blank range, when he was about two meters away.
– Shortly before being shot, the politician himself had tweeted against the amnesty, just after the investiture pact closed in Brussels between the PSOE and Junts became known. SPANISH ELECTIONS

PSOE and Junts have reached an agreement to facilitate the advance of the investiture of Pedro Sánchez- What are the next steps for the investiture?: {Translation, summary}
– The agreement between the PSOE and Junts to pass an amnesty law was officially made public on Thursday. The pact with the pro-independence party led by Carles Puigdemont, negotiated intensely in recent days in Brussels – where the former Catalan president has been on the run from justice since 2017 – clears the way for the Socialist candidate, Pedro Sánchez, to attempt his investiture. However, there are still a few steps to go before that happens.
– The Socialists must close the last of the parliamentary agreements they need to form a majority, that of the PNV, and register the proposed measure in Congress. The president of the lower house, the Socialist Francina Armengol, must also set a date for the debate and the investiture vote. These are the steps and deadlines foreseen with 18 days to go until 27 November, the deadline for a president of the government to be sworn in. If there is no president by that date, the general elections would be repeated.
– Closing negotiations with the PNV. In recent days, the PNV has sent out several messages reminding that the PSOE has not yet negotiated the pact with them.
– Register the amnesty proposal in Congress. Once it has been registered, the Bureau of Congress must qualify it, as a way of guaranteeing that it will go through. The process is expected to be long and tortuous; the PP has already advanced that it will try to slow it down as much as possible in the Senate.
– The date for the investiture plenary session. The parliamentary debate for the investiture the acting Prime Minister and leader of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, is expected to be held on the 15th and 16th of this month, on Wednesday and Thursday of next week, according to parliamentary sources. The president of the Congress of Deputies, Francina Armengol, is expected to make the official announcement of the date on Monday. The CGPJ charges against the PSOE-Junts agreement: “An inadmissible interference in judicial independence”: {Translation, summary}
– The Permanent Commission of the General Council of the Judiciary has approved a statement in which it denounces “the inadmissible references” to “lawfare or judicialization of politics” included in the agreement for the investiture of Pedro Sánchez signed this Thursday between the PSOE and Junts.
– The pronouncement of “repudiation” has been approved with the votes of the president of the Council, Vicente Guilarte, the progressive members Roser Bach and Mar Cabrejas and the conservative Ángeles Carmona and Carmen Llombart. The progressive Pilar Sepúlveda voted against.
– “Such a repudiation is very justifiably based on the evidence that this potentially implies submitting to parliamentary review decisions framed within the exclusive competence of our Courts which, on the other hand, we understand were produced in full accordance with the legality then being judged. For all these reasons, the aforementioned initiative would imply an inadmissible interference in judicial independence and a flagrant attack on the separation of powers”, says the judges’ governing body.
– And it issues a warning: “The continuity of such a parliamentary initiative, if it were to materialise, would determine our most direct opposition through the legally established channels”.
– Likewise, the Permanent Commission of the Council stresses its “real and not merely nominal support for all the bodies of the Judiciary on the occasion of the future actions that they may carry out within the framework of legality at all times, the ultimate guarantee of the rights and freedoms of all our citizens”.
– The Council thus joins the four judges’ associations, which, in an unusual situation, have issued a joint statement deploring the terms of the agreement. Source, Spanish: https://www.abc.es/espana/cgpj-carga-acuerdo-psoejunts-inadmisible-injerencia-independencia-20231109214327-nt.html

ANDALUCÍA

Andalucia registers this year the lowest area burned in forest fires in the last decade: {Translation, summary}
– The extreme weather conditions, with a critical drought and higher than normal temperatures, predicted a more than complicated summer in terms of forest fires in Andalusia. But the balance of the high-risk season has concluded with less “catastrophic” figures than expected, thanks, the Junta stresses, to the responsibility of the public and the professionalism of all the troops that make up the Infoca Plan.
– Between 16 May, when the high-risk season began in advance, and 15 October, when it closed, 641 interventions were recorded in forest land, 61 fewer than last year, of which 517 were conatos (fires that affect less than one hectare of land) and 124 forest fires, 40 fewer than those recorded in 2022 (with four level 1 activations). But there is another even more revealing fact: the 124 fires caused 1,824 hectares of burnt area, which is eight times less than the area affected last year (15,660 hectares) and the lowest figure since 2013, when 1,528 hectares burnt. The mobilizations against the Sanchez amnesty plans are repeated in Almería, Granada, Málaga and Seville: {Translation, summary}
– The cities of Almeria, Granada, Malaga and Seville have once again seen demonstrations this Thursday night to protest against the amnesty, coinciding with the announcement of the agreement between the PSOE and Junts for the investiture of the now acting president of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez.
– In Sevilla several hundred people have gathered at the headquarters of the PSOE of Andalucia, in San Vicente street, where slogans such as ‘Puigdemont to prison’ or ‘Spain is not for sale, Spain defends itself’ have been launched. The attendees have carried signs with messages such as ‘Pedro Sánchez traitor’.
– In Granada, around 2,500 people, according to sources from the Government Sub-delegation, marched for the unity of Spain and against the amnesty from the Government Sub-delegation, along the Avenida de Madrid. The protest took place without any significant incidents.
– Last Monday, a similar protest brought together a thousand people at the Fuente de las Batallas and then continued towards the Subdelegation of the Government, along Reyes Católicos and Gran Vía de Colón, causing traffic to be cut off.
– Also in the capital of Granada, the provincial headquarters of the PSOE in Granada was defaced on Wednesday with the words “traitors” and “coup plotters”.
– On Thursday night, there were also rallies in the capitals of Almería – peacefully, according to Subdelegación sources – and in Málaga, where they took place in the centre of the city, reaching as far as Calle Larios. Two Cybersecurity Centers Open In Malaga: {Translation, summary}
– The Andalusian Cybersecurity Centre (CIAN) is located in the Palmeral de las Sorpresas, and was inaugurated this Thursday by the president of the Junta. “It is a giant step forward”, said Juan Manuel Moreno, who stressed that apart from cybersecurity it will bring “investment, prosperity and future”.
– Its facilities are located a few metres from the centre that Google will also open in the capital of the Costa del Sol on 29 November, making the city an international tech hub.
– For Moreno, the CIAN is “the most important in Spain” and one of the “most important in southern Europe” in this field. It will be responsible for responding to digital security threats and will coordinate the regional cybersecurity strategy. President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno says, “The PSOE-Junts agreement is a “colossal nonsense” and a “humiliation for Spain”: {Translation, summary of 2 articles}
– The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has assessed the agreement between PSOE and Junts that unblocks the investiture of Pedro Sánchez as “the demise of the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party, as we have known it throughout its history. A party of a national nature, a party of a constitutional nature, a party, in short, of the State”. For Moreno, this agreement “is a humiliation for the state and for Spain” and a “colossal nonsense”.
– The president of the Junta de Andalucía added in a first assessment that it is nothing more than a concession for Sánchez to become president of the Spanish government.

MALAGA CITY

The Mayor of Malaga Calls a Protest Against the Sanchez Amnesty Agreement, Expect Traffic Disruptions Sunday:
– The Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, warned on Thursday that the investiture agreement between PSOE and Junts “desecrates the Constitution, breaks the principle of equality, breaks the separation of powers”.
– De la Torre, in a video on social networks, added that on Sunday, 12 November, at 12:00 noon, next to the Centre Pompidou, “the people of Malaga are called against the amnesty, in favour of the equality of all Spaniards and the rule of law”.
– Thus, he stressed that “our Constitution enshrines in the first article an essential value in the Spanish legal system, equality, also with freedom, justice…, but it speaks of equality.” He added that “this essential first article, as well as the second, which is the unity of Spain, the indissoluble unity of Spain, are essential in our Constitution and have not been respected, have been desecrated by the PSOE and Junts” in the agreement they have reached “to free the Junts and other Catalan pro-independence supporters of responsibility for their crimes in October 2017”.
– In De la Torre’s opinion, “this is not the way forward”. “A democratic state governed by the rule of law has its mechanism in the judiciary and there would be certain penalties, and there are certain penalties, which can then be pardoned individually as long as there is an acknowledgement that the crime that led to the conviction will not be repeated”. “This is what the rule of law has to do and we have to reinforce the Constitution in the face of this attack on the Constitution,” he added.
– De la Torre called on people to take part in the event this Sunday at 12:00 noon next to the square where the Pompidou cube is located “so that with your presence, our presence, we can support our Constitution; the constitutional values, which we respect; the unity of Spain, which we love…” Source, Spanish: https://www.malagahoy.es/malaga/alcalde-Malaga-acuerdo-PSOE-Junts-profana-constitucion_0_1846616967.html

– The municipality of Torrox is joining the night time water cuts to deal with the drought. The Town Hall has announced that it will suspend the supply in practically the entire municipality on the night of Thursday, 9 November, from 22:30 until 07:00 hours on Friday, 10 November.
– The Mayor of Torrox, Óscar Medina, explained that “the drop in the flow of water supplied by the municipality’s own water resources”, means that water cuts will have to be implemented at night to see how the drinking water tanks behave and to evaluate the actions to be taken.
– Medina recalled that the Axaragua, the public water company of the Axarquia region, and the Junta, recently made public that the supply flow for consumption is being lowered to 390 litres per second from November to May, 15% less than until now, when 460 litres were received. In addition, Medina pointed out that Torrox “has practically stopped receiving resources from the reservoir of La Viñuela, and now only has those from the transfers from the river Chíllar from Nerja and Malaga city”.
