– I wrote this novel in and around Málaga province; in Torrox and Nerja particularly. It is a psychological/suspense/crime thriller, and would certainly be rated 18+ in places. Electric scooters will have restricted access to public transport from January 1: {Translation, summary}
– The Consejería de Fomento, Articulación del Territorio y Vivienda will ban electric scooters from 1 January on public transport in all Andalucía (metros, buses and catamaran). The restriction, which is similar to what has been carried out in other parts of Spain and Europe, will be implemented temporarily in order to make the principle of passenger safety prevail, as in recent months there have been situations of danger generated by battery fires that have occurred on public transport. Rent grows by 13% in Andalucia and reaches the record figure of 10.7 euros per meter: {Translation, summary}
– The price of rental housing in Andalucia has experienced a rise of 13.1% this year, reaching 10.7 euros per square meter (m2), a figure that represents the historical record for rents in the community, according to a report from the Idealista portal.
– Rental prices have grown during 2023 in all Andalucian provinces, with Malaga leading the way, with an increase of 13.6%. After it, the increases in Córdoba (11.3%), Jaén (9.1%) and Granada (6.8%) stand out, followed by Almería (6.3%), Cádiz (6.3%), Seville ( 4.4%) and Huelva (3%).
– Jaén is the cheapest province to rent a home, with 5.5 euros per m2, while on the opposite side is the province of Málaga, where the price per square meter reaches 13.8 euros per month, which represents the highest price in the province since Idealista has records.
– According to Idealista spokesperson, Francisco Iñareta, “2023 has been a bad year for people looking for a rental home.
