From 18:00 the little ones will be able to enjoy themed workshops. And at 19:00 the troupe El Príncipe, from the carnival association La Sillita de Enea, is scheduled to perform in both Algarrobo and Mezquitilla.

Therefore, it is appropriate to extend the investigation for a period of six months from 1 February 2024…”.
– The proceedings concern new investigations into the offer of an independent Catalonia to Putin’s Russia so that the new republic could become a sort of Switzerland of cryptocurrencies in exchange for economic and military support from the Kremlin. The investigations also include the contacts of people such as Puigdemont’s cabinet director, Josep Lluís Alay, David Madí, who was Artur Mas’s right-hand man, and Víctor Terradellas, who was in charge of international relations for Convergencia, with elements of Putin’s entourage, agents of his secret services and diplomats, as well as people from the German and Italian extreme right.
– The judicial text highlights that “it is accredited that Josep Lluís Alay had with Carles Puigdemont’s lawyer, Gonzalo Boye, a series of conversations via instant messaging that unequivocally reveal his contacts with senior Kremlin leaders, as they refer to the need for Puigdemont not to criticise Putin’s work with regard to the dissident Navalny and not to criticise the president of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko. Both also travelled to Russia to meet with top Russian mafia bosses, such as Zakhar Kalashov, Vasili Kristoforov, Koba Shermazashivili and possibly also with Evgeni Primakov, a relevant politician in the Kremlin”. Andalusia approves its fourth decree against drought- plans for more water in circulation and more water investments: {Translation, summary}

France to push for EU law changes as farmers block Paris highways:
– France said it would push to ease European Union environmental regulations on fallow farmland this week, as tractors blocked major highways out of Paris on Monday and nationwide farmers’ protests intensified. The French government on Friday dropped plans to gradually reduce state subsidies on agricultural diesel and promised a reduction in red tape and an easing of environmental regulations, but farmers’ organisations said that was not enough and pledged to step up the pressure.
– The head of France’s biggest farming organisation said farmers would block all major highways out of Paris at about 30 kilometres (18 miles) from the centre. In Brussels too, traffic on the ring road around the capital was disrupted by angry farmers. “What we have understood is that as long as the protest is far from Paris, the message is not getting through,” Arnaud Rousseau, head of the FNSEA union, said on RTL radio.

– Kinlochewe in Wester Ross provisionally set the UK record for temperature in January after hitting 19.6°C at around 11am, the Met Office said. So no one could have blamed the few dozen who call Kinlochewe home mistaking the end of January as the early summer, given the average for this time of year is around 4°C.
