SPAIN
The Bank of Spain uncovers 95 billion in hidden public debt: {Translation, summary}
– The public debt-to-GDP ratio fell by 3.9 percentage points over the course of 2023, but this does not mean that the government’s budgetary management has contributed to an improvement in the balance of Treasury obligations. In fact, a new Bank of Spain report highlights the negative impact of the government’s spending policy on the evolution of the aforementioned debt-to-GDP ratio.
– It is important to note that debt levels are even higher when other financial obligations are taken into account, such as the debt of public sector-owned enterprises. When we take these obligations into account, we find that total general government debt amounts to 141.5% of GDP. In round numbers, this would mean that there is 606,898 million of debt “hidden” in the commonly used statistics, a very large figure that must be taken into account when analysing the balance of government indebtedness
– However, a more complete analysis also offered by the BdE consolidates the transactions between the different layers of the public sector and allows a more realistic calculation to be obtained. According to this calculation, the consolidated liabilities of the State would be 1,668,440 million euros, an item equivalent to 114.1% of GDP, which exceeds the official debt figure (107.7% of GDP) by almost 7 GDP points and far exceeds the average observed in the EU for this same indicator (95.9% of GDP). Therefore, the real public sector debt is 94,686 million higher than the ‘official’ figure derived from the EDP methodology used by official institutions. ANDALUCÍA
Three dismemberments, two shotgun murders and a strangulation- Multiple violent crimes in 24 hour span leave four women and two children dead: {Translation}
– A woman and her two children dismembered in Las Pedroñeras (Cuenca) allegedly by her partner; a 20-year-old woman and her mother murdered by her ex-partner in Zafarraya (Granada); and another 76-year-old woman in Fuengirola, Malaga, also allegedly killed by her husband, these are the six victims of crimes in the last few hours.
– The Guardia Civil has found this Saturday in a house in Las Pedroñeras (Cuenca) the dismembered bodies of a woman and her two children, allegedly at the hands of the woman’s partner and father of the children, who has been arrested by the Guardia Civil.
– A 34-year-old Spanish man, with a background not linked to gender violence, killed his partner, aged 20, and her mother, aged 49, and then committed suicide. According to the sub-delegate of the Government in Granada, José Antonio Montilla, the young woman who died was not in the system of protection for victims of gender violence (VioGen) and there were no previous reports of abuse. The ex-partner, a Spaniard with a record not linked to gender violence, according to sources from the investigation, used a shotgun to end the lives of the two women and, according to the main hypothesis of the investigation, later moved to their home and used the same weapon to commit suicide.
– And in Fuengirola (Málaga), a 76-year-old woman died at the hands of her partner, a 75-year-old man who allegedly strangled her and then tried to kill himself by swallowing pills. MALAGA CITY
Thousands of people demonstrate in Malaga against mass tourism: {Translation, summary}
– Málaga took to the streets this Saturday to protest the housing shortage, high rental prices and the negative consequences of tourist overcrowding. Some 15,000 people, 5,500 according to the National Police and 25,000 according to the organization, have marched through the main streets of the historic center in a call promoted by the Tenants Union under the motto “Malaga to live, not to survive”. After the Canary Islands, Balearics and Barcelona, it has now been the turn of the capital of Malaga to push back, immersed for years in a spiral of rising prices for purchase or rental while tourist apartments have skyrocketed. Tennis News- Four More Players Withdraw From Wimbledon 2024 including Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich: (See all Wimbledon 2024 results here: https://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/scores/results/index.html)
– Elisabetta Cocciaretto was the first player to withdraw from Wimbledon. This is due to a viral infection that the Italian has been unable to recover from in time for the start of the event
– Corentin Moutet was the second player to withdraw from Wimbledon. The Frenchman, who also progressed to the fourth-round of this year’s French Open, announced that he has been struggling with a bone bruise injury since the clay-court season.
– Dominik Koepfer also withdrew from the event. The 30-year-old is yet to give an official reason for his decision. However, he skipped the Eastbourne International with a left ankle injury, meaning it is likely to be the same issue.
– Alejandro Davidovich Fokina {pic} was the final player to withdraw from Wimbledon. His situation seems very similar to Koepfer’s. While no official announcement has been made about his absence, he also did not play in Eastbourne, despite initially being scheduled to do so. It is very probable that whatever kept him out of Eastbourne is responsible for his Wimbledon absence.
**Who Replaces Those Four Players In The Draw?**
– Olga Danilovic benefits from Cocciaretto’s decision to withdraw from Wimbledon. Although she lost in qualifying in London, the Serbian showed her immense talent during a run to the fourth-round at the French Open, including a victory against Miami Open champion Danielle Collins. She is set to face Anca Todoni in the opening round.
– James Duckworth replaces Moutet at Wimbledon. The Australian lost to Mark Lajal in the final round of qualifying, but he has been given another opportunity in London. However, he faces a very tough opening round match against his compatriot Alex de Minaur.
– Luca Van Assche is also in the Wimbledon draw, due to Koepfer electing to withdraw. The 20-year-old lost to his countryman Lucas Pouille during the qualifying stage. Despite this, Van Assche is incredibly talented and capable on all surfaces. He will face the Italian veteran Fabio Fognini in the first-round.
– Finally, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard replaces Davidovich Fokina. Despite losing a very close match in the final round of qualifying, his huge serve is a big threat on grass. He will undoubtedly pose a challenge to Sebastian Korda in the opening round. Full article: https://lastwordonsports.com/tennis/2024/06/30/four-more-players-withdraw-from-wimbledon-2024/
TECH
Windows 10 can get five years of additional support thanks to 0patch paid update service:
– 0patch, a paid subscription service, announced today that it plans to offer security patches for Windows 10 for at least five years after its official end of life, giving customers a chance to stick to their current devices without significant security compromises. With 0patch, Windows 10 users will be getting fixes for critical security vulnerabilities discovered after October 14, 2025 (that is when Windows 10 will receive its final free update).
– Windows 10 customers who do not want or cannot upgrade their systems to Windows 11 after Windows 10’s end of life will have two other options: pay Microsoft for the Extended Security Program (three years, available for businesses and home users) or do nothing and stick to the unsupported OS with no updates.
– Like the Extended Security Program from Microsoft, 0patch is not a free service. However, it promises much longer support and additional benefits, such as fixes for vulnerabilities that were left untouched by manufacturers.
– 0patch is a yearly subscription that costs 24.95 EUR (~$27) per computer for individuals and small businesses. There is also an enterprise tier for medium and large organizations, which costs 34.95 EUR (~$37) per device. Microsoft has yet to announce prices of the Extended Security Updates program for home users. For reference, for commercial customers, the ESU program costs $61 per year for one device. Full article: https://www.neowin.net/news/windows-10-will-get-five-years-of-additional-support-thanks-to-0patch/
{Note: Just because that old Win 10 computer gets the latest security updates, that does not guaranty it will be able to deal with the newer features of websites/internet or new software/apps. An old processor is still an old processor, and these are not able to support all the new features of the modern computer world. If you’ve gotten 7 or 8 years out of your computer, you should consider that you’ve gotten your money’s worth, and either treat yourself to a new computer, or replace Windows with Linux, where old processors & hardware are still supported with full functionality. -DoctorLaptop}
WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM (WEF) UPDATE – “Summer Davos 2024” in China
WEF Pushes Plans to Seize Control of Nature & Oxygen Supply:
– World Economic Forum (WEF) members have begun discussing plans to seize control of all elements of nature that humans rely on for survival such as food, water, and even the oxygen supply. During the WEF Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as “Summer Davos,” in Dalian, China, globalists declared that natural systems are finite and must be corporatized.
– During a panel discussion, WEF speaker Lindsay Hooper blasted members of the general public for expecting water and oxygen to be “unlimited” and “free.” Hooper, the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership CEO, argued that food, water, and oxygen are “forms of natural capital” that global elites must put “on the balance sheet.” “We can’t do business on a dead planet,” she warned fellow WEF members gathered for the annual event.
– During the panel, globalists argued that every part of the economy depends on nature. They concluded that in order to “protect” natural systems, unelected corporate elites must “bring nature onto the balance sheet.” “If we’re going to protect natural systems, one of the solutions is to bring nature onto the balance sheet; bring nature into the ways that decisions are made within business to allocate a value to it — to bring it into accounting and financial mechanisms,” Hooper explained.
– As a result, globalists must seize control of “the air that we breathe, the water we drink, the soil, the oceans that we need for the food that we need to consume, the minerals that we need as inputs to technology and into infrastructure,” Hooper declared. Manchester Volunteers as Test Subject for the WEF Green Agenda; Volvo is transforming EU’s industrial transport with battery powered trucks despite unsolved risks & disposal problems, bets on future tech developments:
– Unelected members of the World Economic Forum (WEF) have laid out plans to “reduce car ownership” among members of the general public. During the WEF’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions, aka “Summer Davos,” in Dalian, China, globalists discussed plans to force the masses to give up their vehicles and use public transport instead.
– A mayor from the UK spoke at the event and revealed during the panel on “Electrifying Mobility” that his city is being used as a testbed for ushering the globalist objectives. Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester and Mayor of Salford Paul Dennett told fellow globalists that his city will lead the way in the shift toward reducing car ownership. “I think the Greater Manchester story is one of collaboration and ultimately forging ahead,” said Dennett.

By subscribing/following you implicitly accept this; if you make submissions you acknowledge that anyone can view old issues online and see your contact info as you provided and you accept this. If you don’t want me saving your email address do not subscribe/follow, you can unsubscribe and remove yourself from this list using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every subscription issue. Takedown notices must include proof of ownership as well as the date and issue number of the DigameXtra issue containing the infringing content. These may be submitted to digamextra@protonmail.com. Proper takedown notices will be complied with immediately. All images have been credited or copied from what I believe to be copyright free sources.
