The Ministry of Transport includes the municipalities of La Axarquía in the meeting of the coastal train project: {Translation}
– The Ministry of Transport has invited the municipalities of the Eastern Coast of Malaga to the meeting on 17 July to discuss the coastal train project. The Ministry welcomes in this way the proposal of the Andalusian Regional Government and incorporates in this meeting the town councils of Rincón de la Victoria, Vélez-Málaga, Algarrobo, Torrox and Nerja, which join the 13 already summoned from the Western Coast of Málaga and the Cadiz municipalities of Campo de Gibraltar, San Roque, La Linea, Los Barrios and Algeciras.
– José Antonio Santano, Secretary of State for Transport, told Ser en Hora14 that they “look favourably” on expanding the number of municipalities that can attend the meeting as they seek to “open a debate on integrated mobility”.
– At this meeting, the Transport Ministry intends to study different mobility alternatives for this 195 km coastal strip, and not just the coastal train, because they warn that solutions will have to be put forward at different times to address the needs of this corridor. In this meeting, the Ministry wants to specify the basis of the work requested, which will be based on the corridor’s mobility data. To this end, they will analyse the mobility data, the critical points and will seek answers to the needs based on the competencies of each of the administrations, according to the secretary. Urgent alert about a batch of rice sold in supermarkets due to the presence of allergens not declared on the labeling: {Translation, summary}
– The product in question is “4 Golden Savory Rice Steam Bags” from the Iceland brand, with a best before date of November 16, 2025. This product is sold frozen in packages of 600 grams.
– The AESAN has reported that this rice is sold in Iceland chain supermarkets and has been distributed in Andalusia, Murcia and the Valencian Community. The organization, dependent on the Ministry of Health, has ordered the immediate withdrawal of this rice from all supermarkets. The agency has recommended that people allergic to crustaceans, fish, mollusks or milk, who have this product in their homes, avoid consuming it.
