Upcoming Holidays:

Businesses and banks will be closed. Most shops, bars, cafés and restaurants will, however, be open for business as usual.
In Spain, every 1st of November is All Saints’ Day, to remember Christian saints who do not have their own Saint day. However, due to All Souls Day being on the very next day, the meaning of All Saints’ Day has expanded as a day to remember all those who have departed. In fact, more flowers are sold in Spain on All Saints’ Day than on any other day of the year.

Torrox celebrates Halloween, Thursday, 31 Oct, with music, games and workshops in Plaza San Roque and El Morche:
– In Torrox the activities will begin at 17.00 hours with the performance of groups of the Urban Dance School The New Crew. Afterwards, storytelling will begin at 5:30 p.m.; entertainment and games at 6:00 p.m.; and at 7:30 p.m. the storytellers will return. Throughout the day there will be craft workshops, photo booth for families to take a souvenir photo and inflatables for the little ones.
– In the area of El Morche activities will begin at 17.00 hours with a show by the Dance Academy Estep Dance Estefania Bonilla, storytelling at 17.30 hours, entertainment and games at 18.00 hours, and storytelling again at 19.30 hours. As in the old town, in the area of El Morche there will also be craft workshops, photo booth and inflatables.
– To end the day, in both locations there will be a special closing with the distribution of sweets for all children, “a detail that ensures that the celebration of Halloween in Torrox is unforgettable for the little ones,” according to the mayor of the area.

El Borge celebrates the Night of Souls Thursday, 31 Oct, with a terrifying twelve-stop route:
