Putin is willing to negotiate peace in Ukraine, but not to sign it with Zelenski: {Translation}
– The Russian president, Vladimir Putin {pic}, announced this Tuesday in declarations to the journalist of the Russian public television Rossiya-1, Pavel Zarubin, that his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymir Zelenski, lacks legitimacy because he has not submitted to elections after the expiry of his current mandate. So much so that, for this reason, he does not intend to sign any peace agreement with him, despite assuring that he is open to such a possibility.
– ‘You can negotiate with anyone – in Ukraine – but because of his lack of legitimacy

– Putin believes that Ukrainian law requires compliance with election deadlines, even in a war situation. – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi proposed on Tuesday that Israelis be relocated to Greenland in response to US President Donald Trump’s proposal to remove Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt and Jordan. In an interview with Sky News, Araghchi mocked Trump’s comments, which have sparked outrage across the region, and accusations of US plans to ethnically cleanse the decimated Palestinian territory.

‘Breakthrough’ stem-cell patches strengthened a woman’s failing heart:
– Researchers have shown that patches of muscle grown from stem cells can help to repair a failing heart, in a clinical trial that tested the procedure on a 46-year-old woman.
– The woman, who had a heart attack in 2016 and later developed heart failure, had an operation to implant 10 patches of 400 million cells on the surface of her heart. Her condition then remained stable for three months, long enough for her to receive a heart transplant. Scientists who examined her old heart found that the implanted muscle patches had remained in place and formed blood vessels.
– The treatment is not intended to replace the need for a full transplant, but it can help people with advanced heart failure who are waiting for a heart to become available. The researchers have implanted similar muscle patches into 15 people so far, and hope to recruit more participants.

– Apple has released software updates to address several security flaws across its portfolio, including a newly discovered vulnerability that it said has been exploited in the wild.
