The party leadership even issued a statement last night rallying behind him. This has caused absolute bewilderment among his benchmates, executive colleagues, and even government members.

– “I’m devastated,” says a member of the executive. “I feel violated.” The sentiment is widespread. Government sources, after speaking with Pedro Sánchez, confirm that the Prime Minister himself is in “shock.” Just three weeks ago, he defended Cerdán from the lower chamber’s tribune during a control session, accusing Alberto Núñez Feijóo of indulging in “gutter politics” and “defaming honest people.” “We can’t believe it,” says a minister, referring to himself and the Prime Minister.

Three Moroccans leave a musician without teeth after asking them not to get high in front of children: {Translation, summary}

Behold! Humanity has captured our first look at the Sun’s South Pole:
– The European Space Agency’s Solar Orbiter has captured humanity’s first-ever images of the sun’s poles. If this doesn’t seem like a big deal, consider that every image you have ever seen of the sun was taken from around our star’s equator. That is because Earth, the other solar system planets, and all other modern spacecraft orbit the sun in a flat disc around it called the “ecliptic plane.”
– This European Space Agency (ESA) sun-orbiting mission has done things a little differently, however, tilting its orbit out of that plane. This allowed the Solar Orbiter to image the sun from a whole new angle and in an entirely new way.
– Solar Orbiter was also able to examine the substance of the Sun’s outer shell by analysing the composition of its upper atmosphere using the Spectral Imaging of the Coronal Environment (SPICE) spectrograph. Data from that instrument should give us a better understanding of how and why the Sun spews material into space by clocking the speed of ejected star-stuff based on variations in observed colour, the so-called “Doppler measurement”.
