El Burgo (Málaga)- Soup of the Seven Branches 2026: Sat, 28 Feb
XX edition of the Sopa de los Siete Ramales in El Burgo, Málaga. Gastronomic festival declared to be Tourist Singularity which takes place every year on February 28, Andalusia Day. The celebration begins in the early hours of the morning with the preparation of the soup, to which both locals and tourists are invited. The peak moment comes around 2:00 p.m., when we proceed to the tasting of this delicious soup. Throughout the day there are musical shows that liven up the stay. Also noteworthy is the mercadillo artesanal where you can buy typical products of the area.

– From 25 February 2025, the UK’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) must be approved before travel, meaning passengers can no longer board with only proof of application. This affects all Spaniards and other EU citizens who do not reside in the UK, including children, travelling for short stays. Those transiting via the UK and passing through border control must also apply for the ETA, except for airside transits at Heathrow T4 and Manchester airports.
– Applications are submitted online through the official government site, with processing times ranging from minutes to three working days. The cost is £16 (around €18.30), and there is no refund if the application is denied. The ETA is valid for two years or until the associated passport expires. New ETAs will be required if the passport changes. Applicants should be wary of fraudulent premium services charging excessive fees for the application. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame unveils “diverse list” of 2026 nominees:
– The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has unveiled its latest roster of nominees, including Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, INXS, Iron Maiden, Luther Vandross and Shakira. They’re among 17 performers who could be inducted into the iconic hall of fame, which celebrates artists from all corners of music, including rap, R&B, Britpop, metal, pop and most everything in between.
– Melissa Etheridge, Jeff Buckley, Pink, New Edition, Sade, the Wu-Tang Clan, the Black Crowes, Oasis, Joy Division/New Order and Billy Idol round out the list of 2026 nominees, which the Rock Hall released on Wednesday.
