Morrissey cancels Valencia gig after ‘loud’ city prevents him from sleeping– Controversial former Smiths frontman said lack of rest has left him in ‘catatonic state’:
– The former Smiths frontman, 66, was due to play in the Spanish city on Thursday (12 March), but he pulled the plug after struggling to get any sleep “due to festival noise, loud techno singing and megaphone announcements” through the night, which he said has left him in “a catatonic state”.
– He wrote on his blog Morrissey Central: “Tonight’s scheduled show in Valencia has been rendered impossible due to sleep deprivation. – Junior, 2 year old Kelpie, sadly needing a new home due to the death of his owner. Great with other dogs, cats and children. Small to medium.
– Monty, 7 year old Dalmatian mix, he has been in kennels for the last 5 years of his life, loves people, but not so keen on smaller dogs or cats – Preferred as an only dog.
Please take a look at our website, where you will find more information and photos, plus details of other dogs and pups that we have in our care. Our adoption costs are 110e for pups that have been fully vaccinated, rabies, chip and passport. 180e for older dogs that have all vaccinations, neutered and passport. This contributes towards their vet and care costs, and helps us to continue rescuing abandoned dogs and cats.
