MOONETTE – Organic Skincare for Mature Skin

We are a Torrox-based company specialising in the creation of formulae which help prevent premature skin ageing. We are committed to making effective products at affordable prices.
Your skin health matters to us. How you feed your skin is as important as how you feed your body. Why settle for anything less than natural and organic?
As our skin is the first layer of our defence against microbial infections, ultraviolet radiation and environmental contamination it plays a vital role in our health. As we grow older, however, our skin becomes thinner, wrinkled, and more sensitive; hence it requires the use of treatments containing specific ingredients to the care of treating mature skin.
Recognising this need we have created a range of formulae which help
-slow down ageing process by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
-improve facial complexion and eliminate blemishes.
At Moonette, we are passionate about health, beauty and plants. Your skin will benefit from the properties of botanic essential oils combined with a selection of nutrients for deep hydration, cell revitalization and antioxidant effect, all sourced from the finest natural ingredients with gorgeous fragrances.
Naturally, we care about our planet and feel the need to help reduce the sheer volumes of plastics waste that are generated daily around the globe. Presently, we are minimizing the usage of plastic materials in our production while seeking alternative forms of packaging. To help reduce pollution we are asking all local customers to recycle or reuse their Moonette skincare containers, and offering a small discount on future purchases to customers recycling containers.

Minister Admits Unemployment Numbers Improvement Claims Based On Reclassification, NOT Due To More Jobs: {Translation, summary}
– These newly defined “fixed discontinuous” contract workers, that are not counted as unemployed, now exceed 600,000.
– The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, headed by Nadia Calviño, admits the distortion effect that the new “discontinuous” fixed term contracts are having on the registered unemployment figures in two reports consulted by this newspaper. The Ministry of Labor and the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), in charge of collecting from the Autonomous Regions and publishing monthly unemployment data, so far are reluctant to communicate the impact of the discontinuous permanent employees, something that has aroused the criticism of several research services, which in turn confirm that the data are “distorted”.
– Since spring, the labor reform devised by Yolanda Díaz has forced companies to replace very short term contracts with indefinite-term contracts, causing a 782% growth in the signing of discontinuous permanent contracts. These allow employers to ‘deactivate’ employees when there is less workload and in those periods in which they are inactive -that is, they maintain an indefinite contract with a company but are not working or being paid- they do not count as ‘unemployed’ in the SEPE statistics, but are now catagorized as “job seekers with an employment relationship”.
– This issue caused a strong commotion in November, when the SEPE published the unemployment data for the month of October, with an extraordinary fall, and 157,500 new job seekers with an employment relationship (the box which includes inactive discontinuous permanent workers) appeared in the statistics, reaching almost one million people. A few days later, this newspaper also reported that Labor ‘cleaned’ from the official October data up to 73,300 unemployed.
– Thus, recent gov’t claims of job creation were not accurate, they knew the numbers were artifically inflated but still took credit for false improvements in speeches and press releases.
– It was not until the EU ministers publically contradicted Spain’s claims last week, announcing that Spain had the highest unemployment in Europe, that Spain’s ministers offered the truth to the public. It is deplorable, deceptive behavior in the highest ranks of the Spanish gov’t, for which no one will be held accountable. Source, Spanish:

ANDALUCIA

Andalucía to convene Covid-19 expert committee to examine “preventive measures”:
– The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, announced on Wednesday, 11 January, that he has convened the Covid expert committee for next week to address “preventive measures”, especially in homes for the elderly.
– According to the data provided by the president, in the last two weeks there has been a ten per cent increase in the number of infections among residents and a 41 per cent increase in the number of infections among staff in the residences. The average increase, including workers and residents, is 17 per cent in two weeks. In addition, 17 elderly people have been hospitalised, which is three times higher than a fortnight ago. Ex-partner of decapitated woman confesses to killing her: The ex-partner of a 46-year-old woman of Colombian nationality who was reported missing in Marbella on Sunday 8 January has confessed to killing her. In the early hours of 9 January, the National Police set up an operation to locate the woman’s ex-partner. The officers arrested the suspect, 45, also of Colombian nationality, initially for allegedly breaking a restraining order. He has now, reportedly, confessed to killing her, dismembering her and throwing her body into the sea. Second set of classified papers found at Biden’s home: President Joe Biden’s legal team has discovered a second set of classified documents from his time as vice president at a storage space in the garage of his home in Wilmington, Delaware, the White House said on Thursday. The statement came days after the White House said an earlier batch of documents had been discovered in November in the closet of an office at a University of Pennsylvania think tank that Biden had used after leaving the vice presidency. ENERGY CRISIS

Spain increased the purchase of Russian gas by 45% in 2022 despite the war in Ukraine and its commitment to boycott Putin:
– The Western sanctions against Moscow and the promise of the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, to offer “full support to Ukraine” after the invasion ordered by Vladimir Putin did not prevent Spain from becoming more dependent on Russian gas in 2022, a year marked by the war started on February 24.
– And it is that having received a total of 37,027 gigawatts / hour (GWh) of natural gas from Russian fields between January and December 2021, the number rose to 53,859 GWh during the same period of 2022, according to the most recent statistical bulletin of the Manager Technician of the Spanish Gas System (Enagás), which represents an increase of 45.5%.
– This significant increase also translates into a 12.1% share of Russian gas in terms of the origin of external supply to Spain in 2022, exceeding the 8.9% it represented in 2021. Russia remained the fourth largest gas supplier natural to Spain during the past year, being surpassed only by the United States (28.8%), Algeria (23.8%) and Nigeria (13.9%).
– During the month of December the supply was 5,453 GWh, standing above the 4,195 GWh registered in December 2021. The increase has been notorious if you look at the figures for 2020, when barely 1,628 GWh were received from the Eurasian giant. Spain’s dependence on Russian gas during the last month of the year that just ended was 14.3%.
– Spain was the world’s largest importer of Russian gas by ship in July and August last year with a total investment of 747 million euros, far surpassing France, which was in second place with 600 million euros, and China, which was in third place with 527 million, according to a report published by El País. TECH

Tech giants sued over mental health crisis among youth in US:
– The 90-page complaint says the social media companies have designed and marketed their products to children, worsening mental health and behavioral disorders including anxiety and depression.
– “Defendants have successfully exploited the vulnerable brains of youth, hooking tens of millions of students across the country into positive feedback loops of excessive use and abuse of Defendants’ social media platforms,” the complaint said. “Worse, the content Defendants curate and direct to youth is too often harmful and exploitive.” Full article: https://english.elpais.com/usa/2023-01-12/tech-giants-sued-over-mental-health-crisis-among-youth-in-us.html

OTHER

The prestigious Canadian psychologist, JORDAN PETERSON, has been sentenced to a “re-education camp” for refusing to use inclusive pronouns:
– The Canadian government will force Dr. Jordan Peterson to complete a social media course to “re-educate” himself on how to communicate online if he wants to keep his license as a psychologist and avoid a state fine. The “re-education camp,” as Peterson called it in a tweet, will take place at the University of Ontario College of Psychologists. According to the renowned professor, it was not mentioned to him why he had to go through this mandatory training, but he assured that he has some idea.
– In Canada it is a crime not to use inclusive pronouns to refer to a person who is considered transgender, which was criminalized with the C16 law, approved in 2017. This legislation modifies the Canadian Human Rights Act to include pronouns personal as “protected expressions” by the National State.
