Why? Pedro can visit with his commie buddies on his own dime! -Ed.}

ANDALUCÍA
Andalusian president Moreno denounces that the Government’s attitude in Ceuta shows “the disappearance of the State”: {Trans}
– The president of the PP-A and of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, denounced this Monday that what is happening in Ceuta is proof of the “disappearance of the State” and the demonstration that Spaniards are “trapped by an inoperative, incapable and indolent Government” to solve the problems.
– In his address to the Regional Board of Directors of the Andalusian PP, Moreno conveyed Andalusia’s solidarity with the “brother” people of Ceuta at a time when, he said, Spaniards are “orphaned” by a government that is only “concerned with surviving one more day” in La Moncloa.
– “It’s as if the State has dissolved into the internal problems of the Socialist Party as a consequence of corruption,” Moreno pointed out, adding that Spaniards are looking everywhere and asking themselves “where is the power of the State?” and therefore questioning “what is the point of a government if it doesn’t work?” Source, Spanish: https://www.larazon.es/andalucia/moreno-denuncia…

The Regional Government of Andalusia will eliminate the Arabic Language and Moroccan Culture programme from schools in September 2027: {Trans, summary}
– The 2026-2027 academic year will be the last in which Andalusia participates in the Arabic Language and Moroccan Culture educational programme. The government of Juanma Moreno, formed by a pact between PP and Vox since last July, has already set an end date for the participation of the educational centres of the autonomous community in this program coordinated by the Ministry of Education and the Embassy of Morocco. In September 2027 it will disappear from the classroom. At the moment, according to data from the Ministry of Education, there are 1,800 students enrolled in this program in Andalusia.
– As an alternative to the disappearance of this program, the Junta de Andalucía stresses that language schools maintain the teaching of the Arabic language from the age of 14 . “Students who want to can enroll in language schools.”
– Vox has focused on all the autonomous communities in this Arabic Language and Moroccan Culture programme. In Extremadura, Aragon or Castilla y León, the disappearance of this initiative was among the main demands of Vox in its election agreement demands. And, in fact, some of these territories have already withdrawn from this initiative promoted by the Moroccan Ministry and Embassy.
– The Ministry of Education is also working on adapting the educational offer to another of the demands raised by Vox: the inclusion of the history of terrorism among the curricula. In this case, however, the change will be less drastic since it is a line that the Junta de Andalucía had already worked on. In our Andalucía curricula we had already been working on this because we had done it hand in hand with the associations of victims of terrorism and we had incorporated didactic units at the different levels. AXARQUÍA
New step to unblock the Axarquía desalination plant and demands that the Spanish Government fulfill its part of the agreement: {Trans, summary}
– The Vélez-Málaga City Council continues to make progress toward the future desalination plant in the Axarquía region. The Local Governing Board, meeting last Monday, gave initial approval to the project for acquiring the necessary land for this infrastructure, thus taking another administrative step toward making it available to the Spanish Government, the competent authority for the plant’s construction. The mayor, Jesús Lupiáñez, has stated that the City Council “is doing its part” to move forward with the land and now demands that the Spanish Government fulfill its part and specify the next steps to build the desalination plant.

TORROX
Conchi García denounces the deplorable state of the road between Torrox Park and El Puerto and demands that Óscar Medina’s government take action: {Trans, summary}
– Conchi García, the Socialist councillor in the Torrox Town Hall, has publicly denounced the deplorable state of the road that connects Torrox Park with El Puerto, an area heavily trafficked daily by residents who walk or practice sports.
– The councilwoman explained that numerous residents have contacted the Socialist Municipal Group to voice their complaints and request that the condition of this road be publicly denounced. The state of the sidewalk is particularly worrying, with sections that are practically impassable. “We are talking about an area where many people walk and exercise. The condition of the sidewalk forces pedestrians in some places to walk in the road, sharing space with vehicles, with the obvious danger that this entails,” García warned. For this reason, the socialist councilor has demanded that the government of Óscar Medina “get to work once and for all and clean up this area “, guaranteeing adequate conditions of safety, accessibility and maintenance. UKRAINE WAR
More high-level corruption uncovered in Ukraine, now the National Anti-Corruption Bureau itself is exposed: {Trans, summary}
– Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko {pic}.
– The dismissal came after Kravchenko announced that he had approved criminal charges against Semen Krivonos, head of Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). Kravchenko accused Krivonos of falsifying official documents to obtain illicit benefits and also announced charges against a person linked to the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
– Kravchenko had already submitted his own resignation the previous week, but he was still acting as prosecutor general when he announced the charges. Zelensky then dismissed him by decree under Ukraine’s martial-law legislation. Parliament had been due to consider Kravchenko’s dismissal the following day.
– NABU rejected Kravchenko’s accusations, saying they were part of an attack on Ukraine’s anti-corruption institutions. Source, Spanish: https://www.europapress.es/internacional/noticia-zelenski-destituye-fiscal-general-desvelar-cargos-contra-jefe-oficina-anticorrupcion-20260914202612.html

FINANCIAL
Housing prices have risen three times faster than salaries in the last three years: {Trans, summary}
– The housing crisis has become one of the main concerns for Spaniards. Prices are rising at a rate virtually unseen since the housing bubble and with no signs of slowing down on the horizon, making it increasingly difficult for a growing segment of the population to find a home. In the last three years, housing prices have risen almost three times faster than salaries. “The need for housing remains very high, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to turn that need into a purchase,” says María Matos, Director of Studies at Fotocasa.
– According to the National Statistics Institute’s (INE) Housing Price Index, housing prices have risen for 49 consecutive quarters. They have been growing steadily since 2014. Since then, prices have doubled, although this increase has been particularly pronounced in the last three years– housing prices skyrocketed by 36.3% in the last three years alone. The rate of price increases has been accelerating almost continuously since the second quarter of 2023. During that same period, according to the INE’s Annual Wage Structure Survey and the Ministry of Labor’s statistics on collective bargaining agreements, salaries have increased by around 12.3%.
– The gap between rising housing prices and wages is long-standing. In the last decade, since 2016, salaries have increased by 36.1%, while housing prices have risen by 91.1%. Source, Spanish: https://www.20minutos.es/nacional/precio-vivienda-ha-subido-triple…

The Euribor rate soars to 3.3%, reaching a two-year high after the ECB’s interest rate hike: {Trans, summary}
– The 12-month Euribor, the benchmark index for the mortgage market, jumped to 3.3% on Monday—its highest level since August 2024—and pushed the monthly average to 3.109% provisionally, levels not seen in two years. The increase of 0.152 points compared to Friday is the third largest recorded so far this year. The other two occurred in March, right at the start of the conflict in the Middle East. The increase comes after the European Central Bank (ECB) meeting last Thursday, in which it raised interest rates by 25 basis points, bringing the benchmark rate to 2.5%. WEST NILE VIRUS UPDATES
West Nile virus claims its third victim in Andalusia: an 81-year-old man from Tomares who contracted the virus in Mazagón: {Trans, summary}
– The Andalusian Regional Ministry of the Presidency, Health, and Emergencies confirmed on Monday the death of a man diagnosed with West Nile Fever (WNF) who resided in Tomares (Seville), although his exposure to the virus occurred in Mazagón (Palos de la Frontera, Huelva). The 81-year-old patient, who had pre-existing conditions , had been hospitalized at the San Juan de Dios Aljarafe Hospital after being diagnosed with West Nile virus (WNV) meningoencephalitis on September 2nd.
– This season, 64 cases of West Nile fever have been diagnosed in humans in Andalusia, of which 38 were mild and 26 severe, including the three deaths. Currently, the regional health department reports that five people remain hospitalized, while the rest have recovered. Currently, 25 municipalities and three unique entities in Andalusia are in an alert area situation.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)
Trump Claims To Know More About AI than Its Creators– says there is a “sick conspiracy” against AI and that the only control it needs is his: {Trans}
– US President Donald Trump on Monday denounced a “sick conspiracy” against artificial intelligence (AI) and asserted that this technology needs no more control than the fact that he is the president of the country.
– “The only control or security mechanism that AI needs is a strong and intelligent president (with a high IQ!), and the United States has plenty of that!” he wrote on the Truth Social network, amid the controversy sparked by warnings from industry leaders about the growing risks of this technology.
– The Republican has argued that his administration “has prevented AI people from doing bad or potentially bad things” and has asserted that there is already “enormous criminal and regulatory power over these companies,” so no further regulation is needed.
– Amid the new controversy surrounding this technology, Trump has opined that there is “a sick conspiracy against AI and data centers and the only one happy about it is China.”
– The US leader has insisted that the United States must continue to lead the advance of AI against the Asian giant because “whoever wins in AI, wins!” “Conspiracy theorists, seditionists, traitors and leakers: beware!” he warned.
– The new controversy was sparked on Saturday by Anthropic’s director, Dario Amodei, when he published an essay urging “a slower pace” in the industry in the face of growing AI security risks , a warning echoed by his rivals Sam Altman of OpenAI and Elon Musk of xAI, an unprecedented event in the sector. THE REST OF THE STORY
Violence by females on the rise– New shooting in Malaga– woman arrested for the death of a man in Pizarra: {Trans, summary, followed by Editor’s comment}
– Another shooting has occurred in the province of Málaga. The Civil Guard is investigating the death of a man from a gunshot wound in the municipality of Pizarra. The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation to determine the cause of death and has confirmed the arrest of a woman as the suspected perpetrator. Initial indications, according to municipal sources, suggest the victim may have been a man between 40 and 45 years old and that the shooting could be related to a settling of scores. Source, Spanish: https://www.malagahoy.es/provincia/nuevo-tiroteo-malaga-muere…
…and now for the rest of the story…
– {The Left constantly harp on about how violent men are, staging frequent anti-male protests and events, and all their claims of an avalanche of “femicides” that dominate the progressive news outlets without looking at the other side. Somehow the articles covering violence by females always get buried, never showing up on the main headlines beside the femicides they love to display. I have been logging the violent incidents by women this year. Here is a summary.
– Violent crimes committed by women in Andalucia have risen significantly in recent months, with a series of shootings, stabbings, assaults and even the torture of children in which female suspects have been arrested and jailed.
– In September 2026, a woman was detained after a man was shot dead in Pizarra, the victim dying from a gunshot wound to the chest in what investigators linked to a settling of accounts.
– In August, a 33-year-old woman was jailed without bail in Estepa (Sevilla) for stabbing her partner to death at a farmhouse, charged with homicide. That same month, a woman in Palma del Río was jailed for breaking into an elderly man’s home with an accomplice, beating him, and stealing his wallet.
– In June, a woman in Granada was arrested after threatening her partner, barricading herself with two knives, and attempting to stab a police officer who intervened.
– In May, a woman in Almería was arrested for stabbing her partner in the leg with a kitchen knife, requiring an emergency tourniquet to save his life.
– In April, a woman in Sevilla’s Alcosa district was prosecuted for concealment, downgraded from murder, after a man was shot dead in her presence, when the shooter could not be proven.
– In March, a woman in Montemayor was jailed without bail for stabbing her partner to death with a knife. Also in March, a 29-year-old mother in Granada was arrested after witnesses reported her grabbing her two-year-old daughter by the hair, shaking and beating her, and kicking the stroller; a court issued a restraining order and the child was placed in protection services.
– In April and May, two female nursery workers and a female director in Jaén were arrested after at least fifteen children aged zero to three were habitually abused—force-fed until they vomited, then forced to continue eating, and locked in unlit bathrooms as punishment—with the director later accused of pressuring parents and threatening interns to retract testimony.
– Additionally, a woman in Ronda was arrested in January for two home robberies targeting elderly men, one of whom she drugged with benzodiazepines before stealing 500 euros, a phone, and a tablet, and another whom she pushed to the ground and forced to withdraw 1,000 euros from an ATM.
– These cases, occurring within a single year across Andalusia, point to a pattern that the region’s official crime statistics do not capture, and that the radical feminists deny exists. When will the men get victim assistance groups and support protests? SNAFU! -Ed.}
