Colombia’s Infamous ‘Pink Cocaine’ Is on the Rise in Spain and the Rest of Europe:
– A bright pink drug from Colombia that is a mish-mash of MDMA and ketamine is gaining traction among drug users in Europe.

Heavy rain forecast for all Andalusian provinces on Thursday:

– The Spanish met office, Aemet, has issued yellow warnings for heavy rain tonight and tomorrow across Andalucía.
– The warning is in place in Huelva province from 3pm this Wednesday, where storms and strong gusts of wind are also expected.
– A yellow warning is in place for Malaga and the Costa del Sol from 6pm on Thursday, 8 December, and from midnight on Wednesday night in the Ronda area.
– From 9am on Thursday, Cordoba is on yellow alert, followed by Jaén at noon and Granada at 6pm. All Andalusian provinces will face a moderate risk of heavy rains on Thursday of between 15mm and 40mm of accumulated rainfall. Germany arrests 25 accused of plotting coup:
– Twenty-five people have been arrested in raids across Germany on suspicion of plotting to overthrow the government. The group of far-right and ex-military figures are said to have prepared for a “Day X” to storm the Reichstag parliament building and seize power.
– A man named as Heinrich XIII, from an old aristocratic family, is alleged to have been central to their plans. According to federal prosecutors, he is one of two alleged ringleaders among those arrested across 11 German states.
– The plotters are said to include members of the extremist Reichsbürger [Citizens of the Reich] movement, which has long been in the sights of German police over violent attacks and racist and antisemitic conspiracy theories. Assisted Suicide Is Out Of Control In Canada – Canadian veteran, ex-Paralympian offered assisted suicide by VA office after seeking help to acquire a wheelchair lift:
– Retired corporal Christine Gauthier, who competed for Canada at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympics and the Invictus Games that same year, told the House of Commons veterans committee last week that she was offered help to commit suicide when she was trying to acquire a wheelchair lift from Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC).
– She told the committee that she was offered “medical assistance in dying,” which is a type of medical suicide commonly referred to as MAiD.
“I have a letter in my file,” she said, referring to the offer from VAC to help her kill herself. “I have a letter saying that if you’re so desperate, madam, we can offer you MAiD, medical assistance in dying,” she added.
– She wrote a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attesting to what had happened and said she was even told that VAC would “supply equipment” necessary to kill herself.
– Gauthier reacted to the affair in an interview with Global News, saying, “I was like, ‘I can’t believe that you will … give me an injection to help me die, but you will not give me the tools I need to help me live.” She said that her “faith will not allow (her) to do it,” referring to committing suicide.
– Her case is yet another revelation of a growing VAC pattern where suffering veterans are encouraged to commit suicide medically. It was unearthed in the summer that at least one VAC case worker had offered medial suicide to multiple veterans, one of whom ended up going through with the procedure.
– Now, mentally ill people in Canada can access suicide procedures rather than continue to fight through their mental illnesses.

The three drugs whose sale will be prohibited in Spain as of December 15: {Translation}
– From next week, on Thursday 15 December, medicines containing hydroxyethyl starch will no longer be available in pharmacies. After being reviewed by the European Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee of the European Medicines Agency, it has been concluded that the risks of using medicines with this solution outweigh the benefits.
– Last June, the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products announced the withdrawal of the medicines Isohes, Volulyte and Voluven. The AEMPS announced that it would make the withdrawal date official well in advance, which will finally be 15 December.
– In February of this year, the European Pharmacovigilance Committee examined the results of a study and found that the restrictions that had been put in place in 2018 failed to ensure the proper use of these medicines. Previously, in 2013, a series of restrictions were placed on their conditions of use as a result of the increased risk of renal failure and mortality in certain patients. – The oldest DNA ever recovered has revealed a remarkable two-million-year-old ecosystem in Greenland, including the presence of an unlikely explorer: the mastodon.
