Almuñécar Carnival 2023 this coming weekend: 17, 18, 19 Feb.
– Friday the 17th, with the children ‘s session. “In the morning we are going to gather all the children’s centers and we are going to prepare a big party specifically for them. In the afternoon, from 4:30 p.m., the Carnival will be for all our boys and girls. For this we are going to have inflatables, face painting, crafts and animation. Starting at 5:00 p.m., Elenco Teatro will present the show “The Magic of Disney”. An hour later, the great show by Cantajuegos oficial will be the protagonist, with “El Circo del payaso Tallarín”. At 7:15 p.m., the Children’s Costume Contest will arrive.
– Saturday the 18th, The Adult Carnival. From 7:00 p.m. our big party will take place especially for young and not so young. Before that, the traditional Carnival by Bike will be held, which will leave the stadium at 5:00 p.m. and will conclude an hour later in the tent of the Río Verde Campus.
– Sunday the 19th, Family Carnival. From 12:30, a big parade will be organised by the Professional Dance Conservatory Aromar”. The departure will be from the Francisco Bonet stadium to go through Puerto de la Cruz, Larache, Fenicia and Rey Juan Carlos I avenues and Calle Hurtado de Mendoza to arrive at the Río Verdes site two hours later. In the Carnival marquee Elenco Teatro will offer the fashionable musical ‘The Addams Family’ and Aromar a show of Avatar and Romeo and Juliet. At around 15:00 there will be free paella for those attending and a big party with the most popular and festive sounds of the moment.
