Trojan virus planted in Spanish banking apps: The Android banking apps affected are those from Caixabank, Bankinter, Bankia, BBVA, EVO Banco, Kutxabank and Santander.
Authorities have issued warnings about a malware that has been planted in the online banking apps of seven Spanish banks and which allows thieves to access your login details and clear out your account.
The ‘Ginp’ malware only affects mobile apps on the Android version.
How do I know if I am infected?
When the bank app is launched, the effect of the appearance of the malicious screen is similar to when it is passed from one application to another on Android mobiles. “If you then look in the list of apps that you have open you see an unnamed one like the most recent one, open after the one in the bank,” an expert explains. This type of attack is called overlay. It consists of getting on top of the banking app through an Android permit. Google has made it increasingly difficult to achieve, but it still happens.
What do I do?
Take the App off your phone and contact your bank soonest to check on whether you´d need to cancel your bank cards.

Sunday Eucharist Services
Almuñécar
9.30 am – Capilla de Nuestra Señora del Carmen (The Fishermen’s Chapel). This small chapel is situated towards the western end of the beach and set back near the Chinasol Hotel and seafront. There is a Eucharist every Sunday from November through to March, and there is a Eucharist service on every alternative Sunday (1st and 3rd Sundays of the month in April, May, September and October). There are no services during the hot summer months of June, July and August.
Nerja
12.00 noon – Iglesia de San Miguel, Plaza Andalucía. There is a Eucharist service at this time throughout the year. The church is within easy walking distance of the first large roundabout as you drive into town from the Malaga direction, by the bus station.
