– This year it falls on a Tuesday, so that, in principle, it could not unite with the previous weekend, and would not give rise to any bridge (long weekend). However, there are locations, spread out over the different points of Andalusia, in which on the 31st of October classrooms will remain closed.

Maro once again celebrates the traditional Chestnut and Sweet Potato Halloween Festival popularly known as Maroween.
Includes a variety of organised activities, there will be a passage of horrors, which will be located in the car park next to the church square, a terrifying parade with guest performers, chestnut and sweet potato tasting, trick or treat points around the town where sweets will be distributed, and several costume, photography and façade competitions.

It has also been distributed to the Community of Madrid and the autonomous city of Ceuta, although other redistributions are not ruled out.
