Say good-bye to dry, painful lips. Embrace soft ,silky skin of your body and hands with a natural glow.
MOONETTE – Organic Skincare for Mature Skin

We are a Torrox-based company specialising in the creation of formulae which help prevent premature skin ageing. We are committed to making effective products at affordable prices.
Your skin health matters to us. How you feed your skin is as important as how you feed your body. Why settle for anything less than natural and organic?
As our skin is the first layer of our defence against microbial infections, ultraviolet radiation and environmental contamination it plays a vital role in our health. As we grow older, however, our skin becomes thinner, wrinkled, and more sensitive; hence it requires the use of treatments containing specific ingredients to the care of treating mature skin.
Recognising this need we have created a range of formulae which help
-slow down ageing process by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
-improve facial complexion and eliminate blemishes.
At Moonette, we are passionate about health, beauty and plants. Your skin will benefit from the properties of botanic essential oils combined with a selection of nutrients for deep hydration, cell revitalization and antioxidant effect, all sourced from the finest natural ingredients with gorgeous fragrances.
Naturally, we care about our planet and feel the need to help reduce the sheer volumes of plastics waste that are generated daily around the globe. Presently, we are minimizing the usage of plastic materials in our production while seeking alternative forms of packaging. To help reduce pollution we are asking all local customers to recycle or reuse their Moonette skincare containers, and offering a small discount on future purchases to customers recycling containers.

COVID

Covid Spain & Andalucia: {Translation} 09Dec22
– The number of people hospitalised with Covid-19 in Spain has increased by 8.06% in the last week. For its part, the number of patients in ICU has grown by 6.1% compared to last Friday and a total of 97 deaths have been recorded. Specifically, Health reported on Friday that 4,167 people are currently hospitalised in Spain, 311 more than on the previous Friday. Meanwhile, this Friday there are 243 people in ICU, fourteen more than last Friday.
– In the report of Friday 9 December, Andalusia has 283 people hospitalised for coronavirus, while in the report of 2 December it had 247 patients, which is 14.5 percent more in the last week. It has five more patients in intensive care since last Friday – 26 in total – and has reported eight deaths in the last week. MALAGA

The rains in Málaga leave 94 litres in the Serrania de Ronda and 30 in La Viñuela: {Translation, summary} 09 Dec, 2022, 14:22
– It has rained in Malaga, and with some generosity, at last, and with hardly any major incidents so far, as confirmed by 112. The rainfall, which already fell yesterday, began to gain some intensity from the night and this morning has left some significant accumulations. During the morning it rained heavily in the capital and the Axarquia region, where the drought is most severe. Taking stock of the rainfall over the last 24 hours, it can be seen that the squall has been most noticeable in the Serranía de Ronda, where the highest figure is 94 litres per square metre recorded in the rain gauge of the Guariaro (Majaceite) river, in the municipality of Cortes de la Frontera, on the border between the provinces of Málaga and Cádiz. In La Axarquía, the part of the province where the rain is most resistant, 30 litres have fallen on the reservoir of La Viñuela, water that is still very lightly felt in the reservoir, which is at historic lows with much of its land completely dry (only two tenths of a percentage point higher, from 9.17% to 9.19%).
– Thus, according to Hidrosur network data updated at 14:00 this Friday, the most outstanding figure in the Axarquia is in Alfarnatejo, located in the north of the region, where there have been almost 70 litres in 24 hours; in the rest of the Axarquia region it has rained heavily during the morning, with isolated storms in the Sierras Tejeda and Almijara. In the Trapiche treatment plant in Vélez-Málaga, a heavy downpour has left 25 litres per square metre in the last hour, while in Colmenar 57.5 litres have been collected in 24 hours; in Torre del Mar there have been 34 and in Torrox, 27.
– It has also fallen heavily in Malaga city in the last few hours. Between 13:00 and 14:00 the rainfall has left 36 litres per square metre in La Araña and 17.4 in the area of La Farola, where the accumulated 24 hours amounts to 23.8 litres. Also of note are the amounts in Jubrique, with almost 63 litres in 24 hours and in Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja, with 66 litres, as well as in Pujerra (70.8 litres) and Ojén (46.4). UK

Britain Braces For Weeks Of Air And Rail Strikes, Set To Disrupt Christmas Travel:
– The British government is warning travelers of disruptions and long queues over the busy Christmas holiday period due to planned strikes by passport control workers at major airports across England, Scotland and Wales.
– Great Britain’s interior minister Suella Braverman warned on Thursday that up to 3,000 airport staff working for the U.K. Border Force (the equivalent of Customs and Border Patrol) are set to walk out on eight days over the holidays: from December 23 to 26 and from December 28 to New Year’s Eve.
– The disruptions are likely to impact travelers entering rather than departing the country. Targeted airports include the U.K.’s busiest, London Heathrow, as well as London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow.
– Meanwhile, Network Rail, which manages most of the railway network in Great Britain, is warning of “significantly reduced train services” across from December 13 to January 8. The United Kingdom’s largest rail union, the RMT, has announced strikes on eight different days over the holiday season: December 13, 14, 16 and 17 and January 3, 4, 6 and 7. RMT members are looking for better pay and working conditions. Full article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/suzannerowankelleher/2022/12/09/britain-air-rail-strikes-christmas/

TECH

Apple Claims of Not Collecting Identifiable Data About You From Your Device Are (as I have said for years) A BLATANT LIE:
– On its web page about iPhone analytics, Apple states that none of the information it collects identifies the user: “Personal data is not logged, is subject to privacy protection techniques (such as differential privacy) or is removed from reports before being sent to Apple.” But Mysk (security analyst firm) says that data sent to the company includes a permanent, immutable identification number called a directory services identifier, or DSID. This number “can personally identify a user,” because it “is associated with their name, email and any data in their iCloud account.” The researchers’ findings could also affect Apple’s reputation in the future, Álvaro Orts Ferrer, a privacy lawyer and the director of Orts Consultants, says: “If what the Mysk company claims is true and if Apple’s policies assure us that it does not collect personal data, we would not only be dealing with a violation of the Apple user agreement –and therefore a legal violation – but also significant reputational damage.” Read full article for more on this. Follow the Twitter link below for info from the same researcher regarding Apple apps bypassing your VPN.  DoctorLaptop adds:
– Making things even worse, iOS16 will send personal data it’s apps collect about you to Apple BYPASSING YOUR VPN! That means the data they have collected about you is not even encrypted as it’s sent to Apple! Watch the video in the tweet show this happening in real time. You have your VPN on, so all your network traffic is supposed to only pass thru the VPN. Yet many Apple apps will connect to Apple OUTSIDE the VPN.
– Thus, if you are doing something naughty, like watching live BBC outside the UK thru your VPN, and think your activity is masked by the VPN, Apple still knows exactly who you are and what you’re up to.
– This is all now a huge concern as Apple has announced its intention to focus on the more profitable “advertising sector” of the computer business. Will they abuse the data they have collected on you for as long as you’ve been an Apple user to benefit their new-and-improved advertising sales division? Why not? They lied about collecting your data. Obviously it’s not a moral problem for them. Paying million dollar fines for getting caught misusing your improperly collected data  will be considered a business expense, joining the likes of Google, Meta/Fakebook and Microsoft.
