Rastro / Second hand market in Sayalonga:
On Sunday the 23rd of April, Sayalonga will have its first Rastro / Second hand market. It will be held on the main square, Plaza Don Rafael Alcoba, from 09:15am – 13:15pm. Half of the stalls are now reserved. To reserve a stall, please contact Marielle on (+34) 624 469 615 or Yolanda (+34) 600 794 325 (both also on WhatsApp). Price for a stall is 5 Euros.
If successful, this will become a recurring market. So we need you for that! Help us make this a success, book a stall (better be quick!) or come and visit our market and beautiful village. It is the only second hand market in this area (Sayalonga, Archez, Cómpeta, Canillas de Albaida, Algarrobo etcetera) so we expect a lot of visitors, but the more the better of course. And a new car park will most likely be ready, opposite the communal swimming pool.
If you wish to have lunch in Sayalonga it is probably better to book a table at one of the restaurants of the village. Yolanda, Sayalonga.

French Strikes Expected to Impact Air Traffic on April 13:

Self-employed in Spain struggling amid rising prices:
– Life for self-employed people and small businesses in Spain has become increasingly difficult in the last few years, and new data from the main freelance workers’ association has revealed just how much, and just how pessimistic many are about their prospects in the future.
