Cancelled event- El Pantano Restaurant Car boot/Market:
We are sorry to have to advise you, that the regular Car boot/ Market planned for Sunday 7th February, at El Pantano Restaurant car park, overlooking Lake Vinuela, has been cancelled. Many of our stall holders, as well as regular visitors and customers are currently restrained by Municipality restrictions and it has therefore been deemed necessary and sensible, to cancel it.
Government Covid guidelines permitting, we will restart our regular schedule as soon as possible.
Our first market of 2021 will therefore, hopefully, be on Sunday 7th March. Full information, prior to the event, will be published on Digamextra.

FYI: “House of Rising Sun” was said to have been known by miners in 1905. The oldest published version of the lyrics is that printed by Robert Winslow Gordon in 1925, in a column “Old Songs That Men Have Sung” in Adventure magazine. The lyrics of that version begin:
“There is a house in New Orleans, it’s called the Rising Sun.
It’s been the ruin of many poor girl,
Great God, and I for one.”
The oldest known recording of the song, under the title “Rising Sun Blues”, is by Appalachian artists Clarence “Tom” Ashley and Gwen Foster, who recorded it on September 6, 1933 on the Vocalion label. Spain to introduce coronavirus testing at airports to ease travel:
Airport operator Aena plan to set up Covid-19 testing centres in departure lounges at airports across Spain in a bid to ease travel.
These are: Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, Málaga-Costa del Sol, Alicante-Elche, Valencia, Sevilla, Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, Tenerife Sur, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, César Manrique-Lanzarote and La Palma.
The diagnostic facilities will provide quick PCR, antigenic and serological tests to detect both active infections and the presence of COVID-19 antibodies, and will have isolation areas for travellers awaiting their results.
