As our skin is the first layer of our defence against microbial infections, ultraviolet radiation and environmental contamination it plays a vital role in our health. As we grow older, however, our skin becomes thinner, wrinkled, and more sensitive; hence it requires the use of treatments containing specific ingredients to the care of treating mature skin.
Recognising this need we have created a range of formulae which help
-slow down ageing process by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
-improve facial complexion and eliminate blemishes.
At Moonette, we are passionate about health, beauty and plants. Your skin will benefit from the properties of botanic essential oils combined with a selection of nutrients for deep hydration, cell revitalization and antioxidant effect, all sourced from the finest natural ingredients with gorgeous fragrances.
Naturally, we care about our planet and feel the need to help reduce the sheer volumes of plastics waste that are generated daily around the globe. Presently, we are minimizing the usage of plastic materials in our production while seeking alternative forms of packaging. To help reduce pollution we are asking all local customers to recycle or reuse their Moonette skincare containers, and offering a small discount on future purchases to customers recycling containers.
Free small testers are available on request. Please call us to find out more or to order: Tel 650 044 102. You can also find us on Instagram @moonetteskincare.

Junta to start the Covid-19 vaccination of the over 90s who live at home this week: The Junta de Andalucía plans to begin vaccinating those over 90 years of age, who do not live in residences, against the coronavirus this week. This will encompass some 37,000 people, according to the spokesman for the Andalusian Government, Elías Bendodo. Bendodo also said that the first dose of the vaccine will also start to be given to home help personnel, which amounts to about 35,000 workers. Spain to require more expensive masks be used: Spain is tightening the requirements of so-called hygienic masks and will ban the sale of face masks that have not passed tests from an accredited laboratory.
The ban will come into effect within a month after the publication of the new law in the BOE official gazette which will detail the tighter specifications regarding quality and the composition of materials.
According to government sources, the current regulations, issued on 19 April 2020, were intentionally lax, as Spain was immersed in the first wave of the pandemic and faced a shortage in the supply of masks. As a result they preferred to lower the quality requirements of the masks to guarantee the arrival of the product, especially from Asia.
Now that the authorities consider that worldwide production can meet demand, they believe it is time to standardise the requirements of the masks to higher standards so that they can be marketed as hygienic.

More than 100 coronavirus deaths recorded for the third day in a row in Andalucía: The Junta de Andalucía has confirmed 104 deaths from Covid-19 this Thursday, 11 February – the third consecutive day with more than one hundred deaths following the 114 on Wednesday and 126 on Tuesday.
The 104 deaths are lower than the 114 on Wednesday and the 126 on Tuesday – the worst daily figure of the pandemic – but above the 53 on Monday, 28 on Sunday and 102 on Saturday and higher than the 70 deaths last Thursday.
Malaga is again the province with the highest death toll with 25, followed by Seville with 23, Cadiz with 20, Cordoba with eleven, Granada with ten, Jaén with nine, Almeria with five and Huelva with one. Is it possible to travel from Spain to the UK right now (and back again)?: Updated 11Feb21
These are the current Covid-19 and Brexit requirements as well as the situation vis-à-vis flights for people wanting to travel from Spain to Britain and back.
As you’re probably fully aware of, now is a particularly difficult time to travel between Spain and the UK.
All travel corridors were suspended on January 18 until further notice, and according to the European Commission, all non-essential travel to and from the UK is discouraged for now.
That means UK nationals and residents in the UK can fly to the UK as long as they meet certain requirements. Spaniards can technically do so as well, but they also have to factor in Covid-19 requirements.

Where do rich Spanish kids go to school?: Spain’s Princess Leonor is to study in Wales. The king and queen will cover the €76,000 price tag of the International Baccalaureate at UWC Atlantic College, which is located in a medieval castle. Up until now, Princess Leonor has studied at the private school Nuestra Señora de los Rosales, which her father attended and where her younger sister, the Infanta Sofía, is also currently enrolled.
Princess Leonor de Borbón y Ortiz, the elder daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, and heir presumptive to the throne of Spain, will complete her Bachillerato (the post-16 stage of education in Spain prior to university) in Wales in the United Kingdom. That’s according to a press release issued by the Spanish Royal Household on Wednesday. The 15-year-old, who holds the official title of Princess of Asturias, will study the two-year International Baccalaureate program with the United World College (UWC) education movement at UWC Atlantic College.
When Princess Leonor comes of age, she will also begin to receive military training. As was the case with her father, these courses will be specifically designed for her to allow her to spend time with the navy, the army and the air force. The Spanish Constitution outlines that the king or queen of Spain is also the head of the armed forces. Covid Recovery Relief Labelled A “Conditional Investment” By EU Regulators: The jewel in the crown is the European Recovery Plan, endowed with 750,000 million of which 140,000 will go to Spain, through transfers and loans. Schinas, Vice-President of the Commission, has stressed that they are “finalizing the dialogue” with governments, to ensure “the compatibility of national plans with the fund’s criteria.” And she has warned in a forceful way: there will be no investments without reformace.
“No one’s gonna sign 27 blank checks. This is what the member states asked of us, it is our obligation to future generations ”, warned the vice president of the European Commission, who has launched another clear message: “it is also important that in each state there is a broad political consensus around the fun”. Who takes over Worten’s warranties when their stores close?: Worten has begun to communicate to its customers that for warranty management they recommend going directly to the supplier or brand.
The firm specialized in the sale of household appliances transfers 17 stores to Mediamarkt, subrogate half of its staff and it only maintains physical establishments in the Canary Islands. It remains to be known whether or not this fact has implications for the guarantees given, that if the firm is maintained in the country, even digitally, it could end up responding also for the guarantees
