-However, the pressure in hospitals has decreased, with 140 people currently hospitalised (154 last Saturday), of which 14 are in the Intensive Care Units (ICU). In the last 24 hours there have been 26 new inpatients, bringing the total over the last two years to 13,289, 1,121 of them in the ICU.
-This Monday, 1,132 official positives have been reported by PDIA (PCR and antigen test), an increase compared to days ago; which brings the total in the pandemic to 267,607; while the number of recovered patients has risen to 257,099 after adding 735.

No Solutions, No Answers- Spain will not take the measure to limit the price of electricity to 180 euros per MWh to Brussels- Minister claims “working intensively” on other responses:
{Translation, summary} 21/03/2022 15:10
-Electricity prices continue to soar without the government coming forward with an emergency plan to curb them as soon as possible. In the meantime, the betting continues on the recommendations that will be sent to Brussels to agree on proposals at the European level. The only thing that has transpired in this regard is that the government will not finally take to the European Council the measure to set a limit of 180 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) on the price of electricity in the wholesale market.
-Sources from the Ministry for Ecological Transition confirmed to ABC that the third vice-president, Teresa Ribera, is working “intensively” on other responses to prevent the price of gas from being transferred to the price of electricity. However, the same sources refused to give more details on what specific proposals will finally be transferred to the European Council to be held on 24 and 25 March. MALAGA
Welcome to the Great “Digital Transformation”- Vodafone to provide 5G service to 18 municipalities in Malaga this year: {Translation}
-The multinational telecommunications company Vodafone announced on Monday that it will provide 5G service to 18 municipalities in the province of Malaga over the course of this year, in addition to the service it already offers in the capital.
-These towns are Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Vélez-Málaga, Casares, Estepona, Manilva, Marbella, Nerja, Rincón de la Victoria, Torremolinos, Torrox, Cortes de la Frontera, Ronda, Benahavís, Coín and Alhaurín de la Torre.
-Thanks to the 5G network, the company explains, “the inhabitants of these municipalities will have connectivity to download content at five times faster than with 4G
-“One of the great accelerators of digitalisation is 5G and, therefore, in 2019, we decided to market this service for our customers in the region,” says Rafael Alcaide, territorial director of Vodafone in Andalusia, who adds that “Vodafone’s 5G network was already available in Seville and Malaga and we will end the year with total presence in 100 Andalusian municipalities, as well as in Ceuta and Melilla, with the aim that no one is left behind to accelerate the recovery and take advantage of the digital transformation”. (Why digitize everything? Everyone knows analogue vinyl records sound better than digital CDs. Life is waveforms, not digital samples. But big tech wants you to give up your analogue reality, and spend all your time and money in the Metaverse, where they control everything. To get that done they need 5G, and soon 6G. -Ed.) Hospital Delays Increasingly Push Patients Over the Edge- Woman smashes computer in the emergency room so that she can be seen when it is not her turn:
-There has been a huge increase of assaults on healthcare staff as resources stretched to the breaking point.
-The College of Doctors of Malaga has denounced the violent situation experienced by a second year genecology resident on Saturday 19 March at 8 p.m. when a patient slipped into her emergency room at the Maternity Hospital demanding to be seen. Faced with the refusal of the doctor, who told her that she had to wait her turn, the woman reacted aggressively and violently and smashed the computer in the consulting room, causing material damage.
-We are witnessing a worrying increase in the number of assaults in doctors’ surgeries. Although in this case it was not a physical or verbal aggression, we are dealing with coercion. These situations cannot be allowed. We are here to help, to cure our patients.
-“We are witnessing a worrying escalation of aggression in consultations. Although in this case it was not a physical or verbal aggression, we are facing coercion. These situations cannot be allowed. We are here to help, to cure our patients. It is unacceptable and we will continue to raise our voices until violence in surgeries is stopped,” said the president of the Malaga College of Doctors, Pedro Navarro. Apple Services Suffers Worldwide Outages: Starting from 12:50 p.m. eastern on Monday, AppleInsider staff encountered problems with various Apple services, 19 of them. This included iCloud going down, which is a key element that impacts other services and apps with online components. This included Mail, which became unreliable in fetching messages for multiple staff. Some found Apple News wasn’t loading stories, while Apple Music on Mac fails to bring up any pages at all. A few minutes after initial publication, AppleInsider staff encountered further problems with iMessage, as well as Apple Maps. However, the outages appear to affect users in different ways, with some experiencing normal access for some apps, but not others.
The Apple System Status page said most of the services “may be slow or unavailable” with users “unable to sign in” for some of them.

Arctic, Antarctica temperature surge stuns scientists, who call it ‘unthinkable’: An alarming heatwave is taking place simultaneously in the Arctic and Antarctic – a development described as “unthinkable” by scientists.
Records have been shattered in parts of Antarctica, with the temperature more than 40C warmer than average. Meanwhile in parts of the Arctic, the mercury shot up more than 30C higher than normal.
On March 19 the Concordia weather station in Antarctica was at -12.2C, about 40C above average, climatologist Maximiliano Herrera reported.
The heatwave has stunned scientists. “They are opposite seasons. You don’t see the north and the south (poles) both melting at the same time,” National Snow and Ice Data Centre scientist Walt Meier told NBC News. “It is pretty stunning.”
The freakish heat is believed to be a random weather event. It has not been linked to climate change, according to meteorologist Matthew Lazzara and Dr Meier. But if the event is repeated, it would be a major concern and could be an indicator of climate change.
