Outlook Email: I wonder if there are any tech-savvy Digamites out there who can advise on an annoying problem?
I keep getting batches ( 6-12) of previously “Permanently Deleted” emails re-appearing in my “Deleted” folder.Some of them are from 2019.
They seem to be a totally random selection.Outlook “Contact Help” don’t seem to have a clue.
It’s not exactly a devastating problem, but I’d rather not have it !
More info: I use “Outlook.com” ( IMAP) on the Laptop plus “Outlook APP” on my mobile. I use the phone app 95% of the time. I use Windows 10.
This prob has only arisen this week. Today, for example, 4 x “Permanently Deleted” emails re-appeared in my “Deleted” folder , from 2019.
The selection seems totally random, so impossible to see any link.
Today I Re-deleted the emails, then I selected “Recover Items Deleted From This Folder” then, deleted all in that folder.
At present “Deleted” is empty.
