New Covid measures in Andalusia: {Full article translated from https://sevilla.abc.es} Updated: 01/15/2021 22:47
-The expansion of the third wave of the coronavirus has forced the Board to act again, just a week after it announced the new measures for Andalusia . And it is that the cases of contagions and hospitalizations have a very worrying dynamic , which has caused the Andalusian Government to act earlier than expected, since the restrictions that began this Monday, January 11, were to remain until the 24th at 11:59 p.m. hours.
-Instead, everything has been precipitated and the Ministry of Health has met this afternoon with the committee of experts , announcing the president, Juanma Moreno , new measures against the Covid in Andalusia , among which those referring to the curfew at 8:00 p.m., the closure of provinces, shops and bars with hours until 6:00 p.m. and meetings of a maximum of four people both in the private and public sphere.
-Thus, Juanma Moreno , who was the one who appeared before the Andalusians a week ago, has done it again this afternoon, explaining the new decisions adopted by the Junta de Andalucía .
-The Andalusian Government asked the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, to be able to modulate the curfew and even carry out a home confinement , although the new PSOE candidate for Catalonia did not agree to the request . But the Junta has decided that the curfew in Andalusia is at 8:00 p.m. This is how it is going to include it in the BOJA that must be published tomorrow, although clarifying that it is a recommendation waiting for the Government of Pedro Sánchez to agree to be able to fix it before 10 p.m., something that, according to Illa, they cannot currently make the autonomous communities. Even so, Andalusia wants to set it between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. If the Government does not allow it, he would stay from 10pm to 6am.
-Also, with respect to the measures that the Board announced a week ago, there are more important changes. For example, apart from the perimeter fence of the community, now the provinces are also included . In this way, you can only enter or leave each of the eight for justified reasons. What’s more, there will also be perimeter closures of those municipalities that exceed the incidence of 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. The Board will review this data for all municipalities on a daily basis to expand the list.
-And there is more. Closure of non-essential hotels and commerce in the 91 municipalities that have a contagion rate of more than 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. And, if the Government of Spain authorizes it, home confinement in those 91 municipalities .
-There are also news in the number of people for the meetings . For months it was set at six, but from this Sunday the maximum will be four people . And the norm will be both in the private sphere (houses) and in the public (street, parks, bars …) .
-Likewise, shops and bars have their hours reduced. Juanma Moreno last week announced that businesses in Andalusia had close at 20.00, but after the entry into force these measures will be to 18.00 .
-The same will have to do the hospitality industry. Bars and restaurants already had to close at 6:00 p.m. p.m. , but there was the exception of cafeterias , which could remain open until 8:00 , as long as they did not serve alcoholic beverages. Now this rule disappears and all the hospitality will have to close at 18.00 .
-Summary of measures
1. The Andalusian perimeter closure is maintained. You can only enter or leave with just cause.
2. Closing of hotels and shops at 6 pm.
3. Meetings of 4 people, including tables in bars and restaurants.
4. Perimeter closure of the eight provinces.
5. Perimeter closure of the 219 municipalities with a contagion rate greater than 500 per 100,000 inhabitants
6. Closure of non-essential hotels and businesses in the 91 municipalities (of those 219) with a contagion rate greater than 1,000 per 100,000 inhabitants. If the Government of Spain authorizes it, home confinement in those 91 municipalities.
7. Curfew is maintained from 22 to 6 hours. If the Government of Spain authorizes it, it will be from 20 to 6 hours.
8. Pick up of orders in the hospitality industry until 21.30; Orders by phone until 10:30 p.m. and home delivery until 11:30 p.m. If the Government authorizes to advance the curfew, those hours will be adapted.
9. Authorized mobility for federated athletes, judges and referees, for competitions and training. No companions.

The 35 Malaga municipalities which will have their borders shut from Sunday: Travel into and out of municipalities with a Covid-19 incidence rate above 500 per 100,000 people will not be permitted under new rules brought in by the Andalusian government.

Here all non-essential activity will be prohibited, with bars, restaurants and shops set to close.
-Travel into and out of these towns will only be allowed for justified reasons which include caring for a dependant person, health appointments and professional, business or legal obligations.
-These restrictions will come into place at 12.01am on Sunday 17 January.
