The Centro Cultural hosts a new edition of the Festival de Teatro Aficionado Villa de Nerja: {Translation} 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July. This festival has been held since the inauguration of our Cultural Centre, where theatre enthusiasts from our town and nearby towns have been able to represent their works in our auditorium.
In this 23rd edition, we’ll have three theatrical performances of comedy.

-Friday, July 2, will be the turn of Saldensayo with his work “Que malo es conocer”, where Anai Miguel and José María Rico we have a fun romantic comedy about love and heartbreak, with text and direction by Isabel Cabrera.

Wasps: We are plagued with wasps drinking from our pool and harvesting lime scale. They’re largely benign, but visitors can’t cope because they mob the pool as soon as the water is disturbed.

Covid Spain- Incidence rises for second day to 93 cases after 4,507 infections: {Translation, summary} Updated: 24June21, 7pm

Microsoft announces Windows 11: Microsoft plans to release Windows 11 to the general public by the holidays, so we can probably expect it sometime around late November. Before that, we’ll likely see a slew of public betas, starting next week. It’ll be a free update to Windows 10 users.
As Microsoft Chief Product Officer Panos Panay noted in today’s announcement, the overall idea behind the design is to make you feel “an incredible sense of calm,” but at the same time, the Windows team has also worked to make it a lot faster. EE has become the first major UK mobile network to bring back charges for customers who travel to Europe: Brexit meant operators could reimpose charges, though the main four – EE, O2, Three and Vodafone – said they had no plans to.
New EE customers who join from July 7 will face a charge for using their data, making calls, or sending text messages.

El Puente Christian Fellowship – Sunday Service
El Puente Christian Fellowship is a loving, multi-national, Bible believing community of Christ, who meet each Sunday at 11 am to worship The Lord. We enjoy a time of worship with contemporary songs and traditional hymns, and a message brought to us by one of the Elders or a visiting speaker.
The church meeting hall is situated underneath Maroma Inmobiliaria Puente Don Manuel, Cruce de Periana – 29713.

St George’s Church Málaga: We are part of the Church of England in Spain covering the area from Torremolinos in the west to the outskirts of Nerja in the east and to the northern edge of Malaga province.
We have three worship centres, in Velez-Málaga, Málaga city and Salinas. Everyone is welcome to our Sunday services in English, and you can also contact us to enquire about baptisms, marriage blessings, funerals, and house blessings.
Father Louis, our Chaplain, is available for counsel and support, regardless of anyone’s beliefs or background. We aspire to be a welcoming and inclusive community, open to all people seeking faith and friendship.
If you can’t get to church, we live-stream our Sunday services on Facebook, and also gather on Zoom for an informal service on Wednesday mornings.
