For almost 50 years, El Morche has been celebrating this event commemorating its sailor roots. And it has always been one of the most significant events of the El Morche Fair in La Choza. This year, due to the special circumstances of the pandemic, we will not be able to enjoy our fair but we can enjoy the good atmosphere among fans of a fishing journey, an activity that today is a sport for participants and that was a means of living from our ancestors.
A people that honor its roots is a living people.
The day marked will be August 15th, the day our patroness, the Virgin of Carmen, would have traveled her waters.

Recommendation for First aid and CPR for pets: I attended Kaya’s course on dog (and cat) first aid and resuscitation. I learnt so much! Professional instruction with hands on practice in a relaxed atmosphere. Some really practical and sensible information on how to look after your pet, prevent accidents and illness and what to do in an emergency situation.
I would recommend this course to anyone who owns or cares for dogs. Great value too!

The wholesale price of the light continues to set new records- this Tuesday climbs another 4,8% overnight!: {Translation, summary} Updated: 09 August, 2021 – 14:55.
-The average price of electricity in the wholesale market have been located for this Tuesday in 111,88 euros a megawatt hour (MWh), a figure that represents a new historical maximum and exceeds in 4.8% the previous record, set for this Monday at 106,74 euros, according to data from the market operator OMIE.
-If you compare it with the price that was paid on the second Tuesday of August of a year ago, 38,88 € /MWh, the wholesale price of electricity, which in Spain is used in reference to calculate the regulated tariff, has nearly tripled.
For slots, the price for the Tuesday will range between €120/MWh, which will cost from 21:00 to 23:00 , and the 102,22 euros that will be worth between 17:00 and 18:00.

EU Mobile roaming charges- Vodafone & EE have announced new roaming charges for UK customers travelling to Europe from 2022:
The return of surcharges on roaming in Europe for Vodafone customers sees the mobile network provider become the second company to bring back roaming charges since they were largely suspended in June 2017, with EE announcing the return of roaming fees for some customers in the wake of Brexit earlier this year.
EE announced new roaming charges on June 24 in the form of a £2 per day flat fee for customers roaming across 47 European destinations from January 2022. The flat fee will allow customers to use their plan’s existing minutes, texts and data, with those affected being new customers or those upgrading to EE from July 7 2021. Perseid’s annual meteor shower is back: One of the best meteor showers of the year, the Perseid Meteor Shower, is now ongoing through August 14.
