Covid Spain- Incidence drops by another 46 points over the weekend and Health reports 125 deaths and 25,726 cases: {Translation} Updated: 16/08/2021, 18:34.
-The Ministry of Health has published updated figures on Monday on coronavirus infections, hospitalisations and deaths in Spain and, compared to Friday’s report, the total number of people infected with COVID-19 has increased by 25,726, bringing the national total to 4,719,266 people since the start of the pandemic.
-In addition, Health has reported 125 new deaths from SARS-CoV-2 infection since Friday, bringing the official death toll since the start of the pandemic to 82,595.
-In terms of the 14-day national cumulative incidence, the figure fell by a further 46.33 points over the weekend to 415.90 cases per 100,000 population. However, the Ministry of Health explains in its report on Monday that the data for Castile and Leon are not up to date as it is a public holiday.
-The downward trend in the accumulated incidence has not been accompanied this weekend by a decrease in hospital pressure. There are currently 9,356 hospitalised patients (Friday there were 9,308), which corresponds to 7.97% of occupied beds (Friday it was 7.92%). The occupancy rate in ICUs has also risen slightly, from 20.78% to 20.96%.
Spain now has close to 30 million people with a full vaccination schedule
-According to the latest vaccination report published by the Ministry of Health, Spain has reached a total of 29,794,008 people with a complete vaccination schedule against COVID-19 (62.2% of the population).
-If we look at the number of people with at least one dose of the vaccine, the figure rises to 34,455,543 people (73.2% of Spaniards). In total, since the vaccination campaign began in Spain, a total of 61,418,303 doses of the four vaccines approved to date by the EMA have been administered.

Covid Malaga- Sharp drop in coronavirus infections in Malaga, but with four deaths: {Translation, summary} Updated: 16 Aug, 2021, 13:57
-Malaga has registered this Monday a fall in the number of coronavirus infections with 301 new cases, according to the balance sheet sent by the Regional Ministry of Health, compared to the 990 reported last Monday and the 728 reported on Saturday, the last day this figure was reported. This is a significant decrease – a far cry from the 1,980 reported on 23 July – since the Junta de Andalucía has not reported such a low number of positives in the province since the start of the summer, but it should be borne in mind that yesterday was Sunday and that this Monday is a public holiday – fewer PCRs are usually carried out on both days – and it is therefore more prudent to wait to see how the week evolves before drawing conclusions.
-In addition to this, fatalities continue to be reported in the province of Malaga. Monday’s report records another four deaths, bringing to 1,809 the number of deaths caused by Covid in Malaga in the 17 months of the pandemic.
-The positive aspect of this day’s data is that the number of people cured remains one day above the thousand mark. This Monday a total of 1,094 people have been cured of Covid, making a total of 122,509 people who have managed to overcome the virus in the province of Malaga since the beginning of the pandemic.
-On the other hand, there is once again a slight easing of the pressure of care and the province begins the week with 405 people hospitalised for Covid, which is 28 less than 48 hours ago. Even so, during this time 38 more patients have been admitted to health centres in the province, none of them in the Intensive Care Units where, as of today, there are 74 patients with coronavirus in a more serious condition. Flamencopolis every Thursday night at the Mijas Pueblo bullring: A dedicated troupe presents Flamencopolis every Thursday night at the Mijas Pueblo bullring until September 9. The show combines flamenco with acrobatics, comic numbers and live dancing fused together by different musical genres. A total of 10 people will be on stage, including dancers, musicians, acrobats or fire eaters. Tickets which cost €30 for adults can be purchased online through a number of different outlets although http://www.flamencotickets.com charges no management fee and the show starts at 10pm, lasting around 90 minutes with a short break.
On the assumption that Mijas remains in Level 3, doors will open 45 minutes before the start of the show to avoid crowds, and seats will be positioned so that there will be one and half metres separation between non-family groups. Why Is My Fakebook Homepage Timeline Not In Chronological Order, and How To Fix It?: The FB developers like to throw us curve balls from time to time that make using the app or desktop site a pain in the neck. New avatars pop up that we can’t get rid of easily. Posts pushing false information show up in our timelines.
Many of us just want to get our Facebook timelines to show our posts in chronological order. It would seem like the most logical way to follow what’s happening in real time, but Facebook developers have other ideas. Facebook’s default timeline display is based on the company’s algorithm that shows users what it believes is relevant and important. See this article for the fix. https://www.simplemost.com/how-set-facebook-news-feed-chronological-order/
How Did My Email Get Hacked? Dozens of Security Flaws Found Affecting Popular Email Clients: Some of the popular clients affected by the new bugs include Apple Mail, Gmail, Mozilla Thunderbird, Claws Mail, Mutt, Evolution, Exim, Mail.ru, Samsung Email, Yandex, and KMail.
These flaws have been recently patched, so be sure your email apps are fully updated if you use any of these often hacked services. (Do not rely on a free email service if you want any degree of security, privacy or customer support. -Ed.) Researchers say, “As a general recommendation you should always update your software and (to also profit from faster connections) reconfigure your email client to use implicit TLS only.” Full article: https://thehackernews.com/2021/08/dozens-of-starttls-related-flaws-found.html
SCAM ALERT– Be aware of new phishing scam claiming to be Banco Santander: The National Institute of Cybersecurity (Incibe) has warned, via its website, of the proliferation of a new scam through which a group of cybercriminals will attempt to take control of your bank account, with the intention of robbing you. As is common in these types of attacks, scammers pretend to be your bank to inform you that something is wrong with your account, or sometimes you might receive a message stating that that the ‘bank’ is going to close certain functions of your account services. The intention, whichever way they attempt to trick you, is to offer you a solution to solve the problem, by asking you to access the link provided in their email, ‘to avoid your card being blocked’. However, the link in question will redirect you to a fraudulent website from which they will try to get your personal and bank details, along with your ID number to the access code to the bank. Why Don’t Black Holes Swallow All of Space? This Explanation Is Blowing Our Minds: Black holes are great at sucking up matter. So great, in fact, that not even light can escape their grasp (hence the name).
But given their talent for consumption, why don’t black holes just keep expanding and expanding and simply swallow the Universe? Here is one researcher’s explanation.
Conveniently, the idea could also unite the two biggest theories in all of physics. Full article: https://www.sciencealert.com/why-don-t-black-holes-swallow-all-of-space
