Join us next Sunday for a breathtaking hike from the Torrox river crossing in Competa up to Casa La Mina. After a break we will take the spectacular Camino del Daire all the way to El Acebuchal. From there it’s all downhill to the starting point again. The whole trek is about 7 hours, 25kms and the first 4,5 are uphill so you will need some fitness. Bring water, food and your dog if you want.

When is Autumn 2021? Start date for UK season and when the autumnal equinox begins: The days are now getting longer as the nights draw in, which means autumn is gradually looming towards us.
Here’s why there are two possible start dates for the season in the UK, and what you need to know about the autumnal equinox.
Autumn’s first day can fall on two different dates, depending on whether you use the meteorological or the astronomical definition.
-The meteorological system is the simpler of the two. So every year, autumn lasts from 1 September until 30 November, with winter then kicking off at the beginning of December. Under the meteorological calendar, spring then always encompasses March to May, with summer lasting from the start of June until the end of August.
