Covid Malaga- Covid leaves two deaths and infections continue to rise: {Translation} 29 Oct, 2021 – 14:40
-After a few weeks of fairly stable infection, the coronavirus in Malaga closes the week with rising figures. On Friday, 84 infections were recorded, a figure above the fifty that had been recorded in previous weeks. Although this is not excessively worrying, it may be symptomatic of a change in trend due to the relaxation of the measures.
-Despite this, the cumulative incidence (AI) remains stable in the province at 43 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. This figure will remain unchanged until Monday when the data on the rate is updated by the Ministry of Health and Families of the Andalusian Regional Government. The level 0 alert is maintained until further notice throughout the province, after Wednesday, when the meeting of the territorial committees was expected, it was announced that they will no longer meet weekly and will only do so to notify specific changes. This brings the community one step closer to normality.
-After two days without any deaths, this Friday the black note is set by the two deaths due to Covid in the province of Malaga. There are now 1,991 deaths that have been recorded in the province of Malaga since the statistics began in March 2020. Those recovered this Friday number 37, less than half the number of new infections.
-The pressure of care also continues its slow rise. Ten more people were admitted to hospital on Friday, including one in the intensive care unit (ICU). Although the number of patients admitted has remained at 57 compared to the previous day, patients in critical care have seen how this new admission has been reflected in the total number of beds occupied, with a total of 15. Why millions of drivers in Spain can claim back €2,000+ on their cars: If you bought a car in Spain between 2006 and 2013, you could be entitled to claim back at least €2,000 after authorities picked up on fraudulent behaviour at hundreds of car dealerships across the country.
The dealerships, in coordination with major car brands including Citroen, BMW, Fiat, Ford, Honda and Volkswagen, among others, shared pricing information that effectively created a market ‘cartel’ and overcharged an estimated 10 million buyers between 2006 and 2013, who reportedly paid between €2,000 and €9,000 more than they should have done.
The average claim compensation is expected to be around €2,500 for affected vehicle owners. Full article: https://www.thelocal.es/20211029/why-millions-of-drivers-in-spain-can-claim-back-e2000-on-their-cars/

The transfers of cash that the Treasury investigates: There are various operations with cash in which when a certain limit is exceeded, banks will have to report to the Tax Agency if they do not want to be sanctioned and, with all certainty, a investigation to identify where this money comes from and avoid an illicit purpose behind it. UN proposes to reduce motorway speeds to 100 km/h: {Translation, summary}
A global plan proposes limiting speeds to 30 km/h in urban centres, lowering them to 80 km/h on conventional roads and setting a maximum of 100 km/h on motorways. The UN also calls on states to invest in infrastructure so that roads meet technical road safety requirements. It also calls for “crash risk mapping” and “proactive safety assessments” of road networks, so that most roads have a three-star rating.
