COVID-19
Covid Malaga- Malaga’s Covid infection rate rises by 7.1 in one day, with 277 new positives and three deaths:
-The number of new coronavirus infections has risen again in Malaga province this Thursday, 2 December, after a slight decrease on Wednesday. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate has also risen by 7.1 points compared to the day before and reached 124.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
-The Junta de Andalucía’s Ministry of Health and Family has also notified 277 new positive cases in Malaga province (131 more than the day before), three deaths from Covid and 105 patients who have overcome the disease. In the Andalusian region there have been 1,226 infections, four deaths and 437 people recovered.
-The cumulative incidence rate has increased in the six health districts of Malaga province. Five of them already exceed 100 infections per 100,000 population, which means they are classed at “medium risk”, according to the criteria set by the Ministry of Health. The rates are Serranía (172.7), Valle del Guadalhorce (142.7), Costa del Sol (138.9), Malaga (116.8) and Axarquía (108.1). Only the La Vega district is below 100, with 59.9. ANDALUCIA
The TSJA rejects the implementation in Andalusia of the Covid passport although it understands the measure: {Translation}
-The Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Andalusia, based in Granada, has agreed not to ratify the order regarding the COVID certificate or diagnostic test for access to healthcare centers and residences. Despite considering that the measure proposed by the Junta de Andalucía complies with the requirements of proportionality, necessity and suitability, and that there is little restriction of fundamental rights, it does not ratify the order as it does not have a time limit on its validity.
-In this sense, the resolution points out that the justification of the measure must not be limited to its proportionality, necessity and suitability, but “it must also contain sufficient motivation regarding its validity in time”. AstraZeneca uncovers what’s triggering rare blood clots after its jab:
Scientists believe they have solved the mystery behind the extremely rare blood clots caused by the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.
A team of international experts, involving researchers from AstraZeneca, say that in a very small number of cases, about one in 100,000 in the UK, the vaccine can set off a chain reaction which leads to the body confusing its own blood platelets for fragments of virus.
They found that the shell of the vector vaccine, the weakened cold virus used to teach cells how to neutralise Covid, sometimes acts like a magnet and attracts platelets, a protein found in the blood.
But they stress this is extremely rare, with only 426 cases in the UK recorded the cases so far out of about 50million doses of the vaccine, equivalent to less than one in 100,000. The side effect has been linked to 73 deaths in the UK. Full article: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10266585/AstraZeneca-uncovers-trigger-blood-clots-jab.html
