Almayate Carnival 2022: {Translation} The Carnival will be held on February 26. The mayor pointed out that “starting at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon, the registration period will take place in the courtyard of the Paniagua school to later, at 5:00 p.m., carry out the parade, which will last about two hours. Disruption of the water supplies in Mijas: There will be a disruption in water supplies in Mijas today, Monday, February 14, until February 21, between Cabo Pino and Cala de Mijas.

Deltacron Covid hybrid variant detected in UK and is being tracked by health chiefs: The Deltacron Covid-19 variant is now being monitored by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) after cases of the strain were detected in the UK. As reported by Hull Live, the mutant strain is an hybrid of the Delta and Omicron variants of the virus.
According to scientists, it developed in people who became infected with both strains at once, though it is not clear if the UK cases developed in the UK or were brought over from another country. It is not yet known whether Deltacron is more or less infectious than previous variants, or if its symptoms differ in severity. (14Feb), Spain’s national police and the country’s tax agency announced the arrest of six people and the seizure of 24,430 IPTV boxes in Madrid.
