Moonette Aromatic Skincare for 40+
*We are a Torrox based company specializing in the creation of formulas which help prevent premature skin ageing*
As our skin is the first layer of our defence against microbial infections, ultraviolet radiation and environmental contamination it plays a vital role in our lives. As we grow older however, our skin will become thinner, more sensitive, less firm and require the use of treatments containing specific ingredients to the care of treating mature skin.
Recognizing this need we have created a range of formulas which help reduce the appearance of the signs of ageing by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, and also by eliminating blemishes and imperfection.
At Moonette, we are passionate about health, beauty and plants. Your skin will benefit from the properties of botanic essential oils combined with a selection of nutrients for deep hydration and cell revitalization, all sourced from the finest natural ingredients.
Naturally, we care about our planet and feel the need to help reduce the sheer volumes of plastics waste that are generated daily around the globe. Presently, we are minimizing the usage of plastic materials in our production while seeking alternative forms of packaging. To help reduce pollution we are asking all customers to recycle or reuse their Moonette skincare containers, and offering:
* A discount on future purchases to clients recycling containers
Free testers of eye cream, face cream, and body cream are available on request. You can also try out testers in 2 beauty salons in Torre del Mar and Puente Don Manuel (Alcaucin).

Recommendations & Requests
Recommendation – SPW Construction: I wanted to recommend Scott and his team at SPW Construction for the work that they recently undertook at our house in the campo in Alhama de Granada. Scott and his team are polite and profession, they arrive on time and just get on with the job working around any problems that they encounter. Nothing seems to be an issue. Scott is on site and is approachable and makes suggestions that you may not of even thought of.
They completely renovated the side of the building, Removing old windows and rejas bars and then putting in the new windows and replacing the bars and rendered the complete side of the house, making good the inside where the new windows were fitted. Scott even sent someone round after the job was complete to clear up!
They completely transformed the side of the house and I will definitely have them back to perform some more work as we move to the next phase. A great job completed by a reliable and honest team lead by Scott – thank you SPW Construction. (Find contact details for SPW Construction in the DigameXtra Sponsor’s Section at the bottom of every issue. -Ed.)

Stricter rules on nightlife come into force in Andalucía: The Junta says that local Covid-19 outbreaks are being traced to young people partying, but the clubs and bars sector is outraged at the measures. Nightclubs in Andalucía are required to keep a record of everyone entering as of Wednesday. Besides nightclubs needing to log customer details, these are only allowed to operate at 40 per cent of their legal capacity, stand-up bars are shut, dancing banned and a table limit of 12 people in force. Nightclubs cannot stay open beyond 5am, when they normally are busiest up to 7am. On the other hand, pub-bars see their capacity reduced to 60 per cent and opening hours until 3am. There is no need to register. Full article: http://www.surinenglish.com/local/202007/31/stricter-rules-nightlife-come-20200731125639-v.html
Spain officially in recession as GDP tumbles by 18.5%: In the first quarter, growth had fallen by 5.2 percent, the Institute of National Statistics said (INE). A recession is commonly defined as two consecutive quarters of a contraction in GDP. The first of estimate by INE is broadly in line with the forecast by the Bank of Spain which had seen a contraction in the economy of between 16 and 22 percent for the period between April to June at the height of the lockdown when all non-essential activities were halted. Spanish health authorities warn about ‘acute’ Covid-19 cases among youths; the good news is that case fatality rates have dropped to 0.4%:
Authorities warned on Thursday that some young people are being admitted into intensive care with “acute cases” of Covid-19, and not just older patients as seen during the peak of the crisis in March and April.
The case fatality rate – which represents the number of deaths per diagnosed cases – fell to 0.6% between June 18 and July 1, and to 0.4% between July 2 and July 15. Gibraltar seeks to keep EU ties after Brexit transition ends: The Brexit transition period will be over on January 1, and that means that Gibraltar, just like the United Kingdom, will be left out of the European Single Market. The British Overseas Territory is not ruling out joining the customs union or the Schengen Area, but its future relationship depends on the UK and Spain.
Gibraltarian sources said that London should not raise objections the way it did with the Irish border: “Northern Ireland is part of the UK, but Gibraltar is a separate jurisdiction; there would be no broken unity.”
Gibraltar could take advantage of the various forms of association with the EU: some territories, such as Monaco, are part of the customs union; others, like Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland are part of the single market, while all three plus Switzerland are part of Schengen. Why the car of the future is more like a Lego set than a Bond ride: What if you could buy a car that transformed from car to van to truck, à la Inspector Gadget? That’s the promise of the eBussy, a vehicle that looks something like a VW bus crossed with a USB charger, by the German vehicle manufacturer Electric Brands. Starting at $18,500 and topping out at $33,000, it’s a completely customizable modular electric vehicle. You can configure its seats and storage space when you buy it. Or you can swap out those details later by hand, when you bring it home. The eBussy launches in the U.K. next year.

Note: This following article from Spanish language espanadiario.net is a test of a new webpage translator I am trying out. If this works I will have better, more accurate direct access to Spanish language news. The Spanish sites often post breaking news that I don’t hear about until it gets posted many hours later, often in poor translations and with political spins added, in English language media outlets. I found this translation quite readable, not perfect, but good enough. Let me know if there is anything annoying in it I’ve overlooked.
For sale in some supermarkets the Portuguese mask that inactivates the Covid: [https://espanadiario.net] The new mask is ‘reusable, comfortable and waterproof’, says provider.
Eroski sells it as the MO brand textile mask that inactivates the coronavirus that originates covid-19. This facial protector of Portuguese origin, which can be found at the price of 9.95 euros in the establishments of the Eroski commercial network, has successfully passed the tests carried out by the João Lobo Antunes Molecular Institute of Lisbon (IMM), according to the Eroski supermarket chain.
As explained by the information provided by the supplier of the new mask , it is “a mask highly efficient, comfortable and waterproof reusable that has an innovative coating that neutralizes the SARS-CoV-2 virus when it comes in contact with the tissue. An effect that lasts up to 50 washes”.
According to the official technical information of the mask , this face mask is developed with a technical fabric that integrates “several different layers and a water repellent treatment that allows neutralizing bacteria and viruses when they come into contact with the mask.”
The mask is made without harmful chemicals.
In addition, the mask Portuguese is also certified for the respiratory protection of external particles thanks to the high particle retention capacity of its fiber / mesh, the Eroski supermarket chain has indicated.
This new product also has the OEKO-Tex certification, which demonstrates the absence of harmful chemicals during the manufacturing process, being harmless in ecological human terms.
The mask is designed and manufactured in Portugal and is the result of collaboration between various agents from the business, scientific and academic community, among which is the company Sonae Fashion and its retailer in the fashion sector MO with whom Eroski closed a collaboration agreement less than a year ago for the marketing of its textile brand.
