MOONETTE Organic & Aromatic Skincare for 40+
We are a Torrox-based company specialising in the creation of formulae which help prevent premature skin ageing
We are committed to making effective products at affordable prices
New products coming soon – Super Lip Balm & Bulgarian Rose Face Cleanser
As our skin is the first layer of our defence against microbial infections, ultraviolet radiation and environmental contamination it plays a vital role in our health. As we grow older, however, our skin becomes thinner, wrinkled, and more sensitive; hence it requires the use of treatments containing specific ingredients to the care of treating mature skin.
Recognising this need we have created a range of formulae which help slow down the ageing process by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, improving facial complexion and eliminating blemishes.
At Moonette, we are passionate about health, beauty and plants. Your skin will benefit from the properties of botanic essential oils combined with a selection of nutrients for deep hydration, cell revitalization and antioxidant effect, all sourced from the finest natural ingredients with gorgeous fragrances.
Naturally, we care about our planet and feel the need to help reduce the sheer volumes of plastics waste that are generated daily around the globe. Presently, we are minimizing the usage of plastic materials in our production while seeking alternative forms of packaging. To help reduce pollution we are asking all local customers to recycle or reuse their Moonette skincare containers, and offering a small discount on future purchases to customers recycling containers.

New Covid Rules Update Direct From The Junta de Andalucia- Moreno announces a ‘de-escalation’ in two phases and calls for prudence: {Translated from http://www.juntadeandalucia.es}
The Junta de Andalucía has agreed to apply a progressive “de-escalation” in two phases to increase mobility on Christmas dates. This was announced this afternoon by the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, after presiding over the meeting of the COVID-19 expert committee, also making a call for prudence and responsibility: “Let’s not lose respect for the coronavirus”.
The measures that the Andalusian president has announced today imply a relaxation of the limitations decreed on October 30 and translate into a “de-escalation” in two phases.
-A first phase, from midnight this Friday/Saturday December 12 and until December 17 included, when mobility between municipalities of the same province will be possible. On those days, the stores may open until 9:00 p.m. and the hospitality businesses will keep its hours until 6:00 p.m. In this period, the curfew will remain as it has been until now, between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
-The second phase will be applied from Friday, December 18. At that time, and until January 10, mobility between provinces will be authorized. In addition, the hospitality businesses may open at special hours in two sections: from morning until 6:00 p.m. and between 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
With this measure, as the president has said, it is intended to avoid that the after-meals are lengthened, ” hours that are very sensitive for contagion because, according to the experts, it is when the greatest relaxation occurs.”
During this period from December 18 to January 10, the rest of the shops may open during their normal hours and the curfew is established between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
-In addition, between December 23 and January 6, you will be able to enter and leave Andalusia to visit family members . The term “relative” has been discarded as it is considered ambiguous and “makes it difficult for those who have to enforce these rules to control.”
-As for the ski resort Sierra Nevada, Moreno has declared that it will open on December 18 with the capacity, schedules and protocols established for the ski and mountain resorts before the Covid-19.
-Regarding residences for the elderly, Moreno has specified that between December 22 and January 7, the elderly may go out to a single family home if the center accredits that during the last 14 days the person has not presented symptoms and with a test negative in the 72 hours prior to departure or a positive serological test, that is, they are immunized. The duration of the stay in the family home must be greater than five days and be under active surveillance of symptoms at all times. To return to the center, you must have a negative test a maximum of 48 hours in advance. UK holidaymakers barred from EU after 1 January under Covid rules: British holidaymakers will be barred from the European Union from 1 January under current Covid-19 safety restrictions, with the EU commission indicating there will be no exemption for the UK.
Within the EEA, or Schengen-associated states, Norway has also confirmed it will bar UK visitors from 1 January, according to the Financial Times.
The imminent bracketing of British tourists with those of other non-EU countries such as Albania and Turkey underlines the potential impact of a no-deal Brexit. EU member states can override the European council recommendations in theory, should they wish to. Spain changes coronavirus test requirements for air travelers, exempts children under six: As well as a PCR test, arrivals in Spanish airports will from today be able to present so-called TMA tests, which give results in a shorter time frame and are cheaper. The difference in practice is that the results come back in around two hours, instead of four for a PCR test, and a TMA test is usually cheaper – just under €100 compared to above €100. As well as exempting children aged under six from the need to present a negative coronavirus test on arrival in Spain, the ministry has also announced that test results can be presented in French or German, as well as in English and Spanish, as was the case up until now. Lawsuits could force Facebook to sell Instagram and WhatsApp: US federal and state competition enforcers have filed lawsuits against Facebook claiming the social media giant abused its dominant position with its acquisitions of messaging services Instagram and WhatsApp. Separate suits filed by the Federal Trade Commission and a coalition of state officials called for the divestment of Instagram and WhatsApp.
“For nearly a decade, Facebook has used its dominance and monopoly power to crush smaller rivals and snuff out competition, all at the expense of everyday users,” said New York state Attorney General Letitia James, who leads the coalition.
“Facebook used its power to suppress competition so it could take advantage of users and make billions by converting personal data into a cash cow.” “Facebook has been spending its time surveilling users’ personal information and profiting from it,” Ms James said. “No company should have this much unchecked power over our personal information, and our social interactions.” Full article: https://www.rte.ie/news/world/2020/1209/1183489-facebook/

Hack Alert- Jabber Video Conferencing Software: If you are using Jabber video conferencing software from Cisco, you should immediately update it. Four newly discovered vulnerabilities, if successfully exploited, could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on target systems by sending specially-crafted chat messages in group conversations or specific individuals.
