Malaga’s new all-year-round drive-in cinema opens Oct 8th:
Autocine Málaga Metrovacesa recreates the popular 1950s open-air movie theatres in the United States and will feature a huge 250-square-metre screen, opening with the screening of the classic film, Grease.
It is located on the Guadalhorce industrial estate and will be open all year round, becoming the first permanent drive-in movie theatre in Andalucía and the second largest in Europe.
Tickets for this first public screening are already available from 7.50 euros per person (children from 4 to 12 years 6 euros) on the company’s website. Covid Spain- The incidence falls to the 65 cases after a weekend with 5.039 new infections: {Translation, summary}
–The Ministry of Health has reported 69 deaths since Friday, which represents a decline compared to the previous Monday, when it is reported 118 deaths.

Covid Andalucia- Andalusia adds 362 cases, five deaths and its rate continues to fall to 57: {Translation, summary}
-Andalusia registered this Monday, September 27, a total of 362 infections, lower than the 528 of seven days ago, as well as five deaths, the same figure as the deaths of last Monday. As for the five deaths, Malaga has added two, Seville one, Cordoba one and Granada one.
-For its part, the cumulative incidence stands at 57.2 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 1.7 points less in 24 hours, which is also 15.7 points less than last Monday.
-On this day, Seville is the one that has registered the most positives, with 95, followed by Malaga with 83, Almeria with 71, Huelva with 48, Jaen and Cadiz with 21 each, Granada with 14 and Cordoba with nine.
-The community has recorded a drop of 19 hospitalized by Covid compared to Saturday to stand at a total of 368, representing a decrease of 93 in the comparative interweekly and the lowest figure since August 26, 2020, when there were 341, while patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) have decreased by five to stand at 104 admitted, 26 less than those reported seven days ago and the lowest figure since the 102 recorded on September 6, 2020.

Cannabis Legalization Proposed For Spain: {Translation, summary}
-This Monday in the Congress of Deputies a bill was presented that, in line with the demands of the European Cannabis Observatory, declares “free” all uses of cannabis recognizing “the universal, cultural, sociological, recreational, medicinal, commercial and industrial value and character of the plant in all its varieties”. The law thus aims to put cannabis consumption on a par with tobacco consumption, with all its limitations in closed establishments and access to minors. Its consumption will thus be prohibited for those persons under age of 18.
-The text, to which elDiario.es has had access, “covers the strictly private uses of the plant and its derivatives, carried out by natural or legal persons, including the planting, possession, transport, deposit, storage, consumption, shared consumption, research or development” of marijuana and its derivatives.
-The bill contemplates, for example, the decriminalization of its consumption in public -now punished with a fine of between 600 and 10,000 euros- or that “persons who make a particular use of cannabis” may “transport on public roads up to 10 times the amount required for daily consumption”. SCAM ALERT- National Police warn consumers of the Mercadona email scam: The scam operates via an email that you might receive, with the heading, “You have been selected!”, in which the scammer will ask you to enter personal information in order to claim a ‘prize’. This email will also ask you to click on a link, telling you that by doing so you can receive free products from the supermarket giant.
Of course, the whole thing is an elaborate trick, designed to collect your personal info and banking data. You might think nobody would be naive enough to actually fall into this trap, but the National Police will tell you otherwise. Norway to Lift Its Advice Against Non-Essential Travel From October 1: Citizens of Norway will be eligible to travel to other countries, even for non-essential purposes such as tourism, as the country’s government will no longer advise them to avoid unnecessary travel.
