Recommendation – Mandy’s Paintbox: I would like to give a personal recommendation for Mandy’s Paintbox. I wanted a brightly coloured through lounge painted over in a neutral colour so that my dad could move in. I contacted Mandy and she came the next morning to assess, advise and give an estimate for the job which involved 3 coats to cover. When I accepted, she helped move all the furniture into the centre of the room ready for painting the next day and completed the work the following day, which was amazing. Covid Axarquia – Full Update – Vélez-Málaga, Algarrobo, Arenas, Iznate and Benamargosa have an incidence of more than 2,000 cases: {Translation} 14Jan22
-Coronavirus infections in Axarquia are down for the fourth consecutive day after 305 new positives and one death in the municipality of Velez-Malaga were reported on Friday.

The number of infections has fallen for the fourth consecutive day, after 322 on Thursday, 343 on Wednesday, 372 on Tuesday and 489 on Monday. Weekly cases are also down (1,831) compared to last week (3,010) and a fortnight ago (1,872).
-A day in which a new death has been added in the municipality of Vélez-Málaga, which has already recorded 113 deaths due to COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. In addition, another 11 people have recovered from the disease.
-With regard to the new positives in the last 24 hours, the following have been reported: 126 in Vélez-Málaga; 46 in Rincón de la Victoria; 40 in Torrox; 32 in Nerja; 8 in Algarrobo; 7 in Benamargosa; 6 in Frigiliana; 5 in Benamocarra and Periana; 4 in Comares and Cómpeta; 3 in Alcaucín, Colmenar and Sedella; 2 in Almáchar, El Borge, Iznate, Riogordo and Sayalonga; and 1 in Alfarnate, Alfarnatejo and Cútar.
-29 of the 31 municipalities in the region remain at very high risk (Cumulative Incidence / AI at 14 days above 500 cases). The localities with a rate above 2,000 cases are Arenas (2,973.7), Algarrobo (2,318.5), Vélez-Málaga (2,304.4), Iznate (2,094.8) and Benamargosa (2,019.5).
-Also above 1,000 cases are the municipalities of Riogordo (1,946.4), El Borge (1,843.8), Torrox (1,822.4), Árchez (1,818.2), Periana (1,812.9), Cútar (1,785.7), Canillas de Aceituno (1. 369), Sayalonga (1,275.5), Sedella (1,215.3), Almáchar (1,210.8), Benamocarra (1,149), Alfarnate (1,126.8), Nerja (1,125.6), Frigiliana (1,110.4), Colmenar (1,085.4) and Rincón de la Victoria (1,078.6).
-Other localities exceeding the 500 positive threshold are Totalán (949.8), Cómpeta (882.3), Alfarnatejo (824.2), Alcaucín (789.8), Comares (601.5), Salares (578), Moclinejo (559.6) and La Viñuela (535.3).
-The two municipalities at high risk (AI to 14 days of 300 to 500 cases) are Canillas de Albaida (395.3) and Macharaviaya (389.9).
-As for the people who have overcome the disease, 8 have been reported in Vélez-Málaga; 2 in Rincón de la Victoria; and 1 in Torrox.
-The incidence in the Axarquia Health District (which includes Casabermeja) is at 1,864.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 142.3 points less than this Thursday (2,007.2) and 285.7 points lower than a week ago (2,150.6). For its part, in the Malaga Health District (which includes Rincon de la Victoria, Macharaviaya, Moclinejo and Totalan, in addition to Malaga city and Almogia) the incidence is 1,443.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 52.4 points less than this Thursday (1,496.2) and 215 points below a week ago (1,658.8).
-In total, since the beginning of the pandemic in the Axarquia region, 23,281 positive cases have been registered to date, of which 16,159 have been cured and 231 have died. Two residents of Seville sentenced for insulting civil guards on Facebook by calling them “corrupt”

Two Sevillian courts have convicted two residents of the province of Seville for insulting civil guards.
