-The Organisation of Consumers and Users (OCU) is calling on the Ministry of Health to end the compulsory wearing of masks outdoors except in those circumstances in which it is not possible to maintain a safe distance in interactions with other people, as has always been recommended by the WHO.
-For OCU, the measure approved in the Congress of Deputies is ineffective for the prevention of the coronavirus and causes enormous fatigue among citizens after two years of pandemic and 6 waves of contagions that have served to accumulate enough evidence about the effectiveness of the various protective measures that were lacking in March 2020.
