Recommendations & Requests
Vacuum Cleaner Bags Needed: I have searched all over Torrox Costa, Amazon UK&ES and even the Philips website, and cannot find replacement bags for my Philips De Luxe 1100, model P63 vacuum cleaner (or for any other model vacuum in Torrox Costa shops for that matter; nobody seems to stock vacuum bags anymore). This is not a very old vacuum cleaner, just 3 or 4 years old.
Can anyone suggest a place that stocks vacuum bags in the Nerja to Torre del Mar area? I am even willing to modify bags that are similar, if not a perfect fit. If you can suggest a place with a good selection of vacuum bags to chose from I am sure I can find something I can make fit. Replies are appreciated and will be copied to DigameXtra. Thank You.

Coronavirus hospitalizations in Spain quadruple in a month due to spike in cases: Medical centers are preparing for a surge in patients, as the number of Covid-19 outbreaks in the country rises to 580. This rise in infections has led to an increase in serious cases that require hospitalization. If, at the beginning of July, there were around 150 Covid-19 patients receiving hospital treatment with an admission date within the previous seven days, this figure is now around 650 – 677 on Friday, the last day that data was released – which is more than four times higher. Smoke free beaches in Torrox: This year the Town Hall has joined the project of the Andalucian Network of Sanitary Services and Smoke-Free Spaces (RASSELH). These spaces are in areas in which the project had already begun: Playa de Ferrara, sports area; Playa del Cenicero and Paseo Marítimo en El Morche and Playa de El Peñoncillo. (Am I the only one who believes this will drive away more tourists than it attracts in this time when this area is desperate for tourists? This is not the time for such measures in my humble opinion! Is smoking outdoors even a critical issue? The tobacco shops were included in the list of essential services when the lockdown was implemented. People from all over the world travel here, to some degree, for cheap tobacco and alcohol. Will they ban alcohol on the beach next? DoctorLaptop Told You So- TeamViewer Flaw Could Let Hackers Steal System Password Remotely: I’ve been warning my clients for years that these remote access programs are a serious threat and should be uninstalled as soon as you are done using it.
If you are using TeamViewer, then beware and make sure you’re running the latest version of the popular remote desktop connection software for Windows.
TeamViewer team recently released a new version of its software that includes a patch for a severe vulnerability (CVE 2020-13699), which, if exploited, could let remote attackers steal your system password and eventually compromise it.
What’s more worrisome is that the attack can be executed almost automatically without requiring much interaction of the victims and just by convincing them to visit a malicious web page once.
