This is to manage numbers and arrival times and ensure your safety but of course there is ample space to maintain as much distance as you need while enjoying the many facets and sculptures around the Garden. You’ll find plenty of shady areas if you need to avoid direct sun!
If we can accommodate you on a Sunday it’s still most likely that your visit will be accompanied by live Chamber Music!

Art Exhibition in Nerja:
In the coming 2 weeks ( 20 august -5 september) I will be exhibiting my latest paintings and objects in the Sala Municipal in Nerja in the post office street. I paint mainly the female figure in oils, acrylics and collage. But there are also paintings of flowers and landscapes to be seen.
During lockdown I made objects by recycling materials that were available in and around the house. These will also be on show.
I am a dutch artist and have lived in Torrox for the past 10 years. Why not drop by sometime and see an interesting mix of styles and techniques. You are very welcome!

World Health Organization attributes 100+ national travel restrictions on Spain to doubts about management of outbreaks: The comments from epidemiologist Bruce Aylward came on the same day that the country was confirmed to have the highest infection rate per 100,000 inhabitants in Europe.
The comments came after more than a hundred states imposed some kind of controls on the circulation of travelers either into or out of Spain, according to figures from the Spanish Foreign Ministry. LOCAL INFECTIONS- Ministry of Health confirms eight new COVID infections in Spain’s Axarquía region: Ministry of Health of the Junta de Andalucía has confirmed eight new COVID infections in Axarquía, specifically three in Vélez-Málaga, two in Algarrobo, two in Rincón de la Victoria and one positive in Nerja.
Vélez-Málaga continues to have the most confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic with 187 positives. It is followed by Rincón de la Victoria with 180 infected, Nerja with 28, Torrox and Algarrobo with 16 cases each. Spanish Government has not approved even 1% of income assistance requests: The chaos in the administration not only affects the collection times of the ERTE. Now it also applies to applications to receive the minimum vital income, the Government’s star measure and with which they calculated to benefit some 850,000 households, about 2.3 million people, to reduce extreme poverty in Spain by 80%. This minimum income can be requested since last June 15, and according to the Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration himself, in just over a month and a half they had already received more than 700,000 applications. However, as La Información has advanced, the ministry itself has recognized from the transparency portal that until August 7, only 3,966 applications had been approved. BAD COP = NO DONUT – Ex-FBI Lawyer Pleads Guilty To Faking Key Evidence in Trump/Russia Collusion Investigation, More Indictments On The Way: Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty on Wednesday in federal court to falsifying a document as part of the bureau’s early-stage probe into whether President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with the Russian government.
Clinesmith is the first person criminally charged in an investigation by John Durham, a federal prosecutor tapped to probe mistakes and intentionally false claims the FBI made when it sought a warrant to conduct surveillance on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Clinesmith admitted to doctoring a CIA email the FBI used in 2017 when it applied to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to renew its application for a secret wiretap to monitor Page.
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz uncovered the doctored email and in December released a scathing report documenting 17 “basic and fundamental” errors and omissions in FBI surveillance warrant applications.
