DoctorLaptop’s famous Annual Clean & TuneUp Service €60: For Windows & Mac. New “fileless” malware formats evade standard anti-virus programs, making it difficult for typical users to “dis-infect” computers themselves with free, consumer level tools.  If you rely on your computer and want it running at peak performance an annual professional servicing with advanced professional grade tools is necessary. You wouldn’t drive your car till it runs out of oil before servicing it, would you? If you did, the engine replacement will cost far more than if you had properly maintained it with an oil change once or twice a year. It’s the same with computers, you should do a quick cleanup yourself once a month, and get an annual professional service. I do the most comprehensive cleaning and tune-up possible: verify all System files and permissions, replacing any found to be corrupt, test all hardware and do hard disk sector repairs if needed, use a 5 tool malware/adware/spyware removal protocol, clean out junk files/logs/history/etc., update Windows/Mac+all drivers+programs and finally optimize your settings and registry for fastest overall performance. Job usually completed overnight. Heavily infected comps or those showing error messages need a repair, not a maintenance service. Hard disks of 1000Gb or more add €10 and may require 2 days to complete.
ALSO: Free shopping service, send me your requirements, I’ll find you the best deals!
Windows, Apple/Mac, Linux and Android all serviced. I do not service phones.
Contact: doctorlaptop AT protonmail DOT com or call 675 993 069 (no calls answered before 11am, missed calls returned asap). Please do not use the DigameXtra email for DoctorLaptop business. Always include the make, model, and version of Windows/Mac installed when emailing for support.

Ireland orders full national lockdown- Country faces SIX WEEKS of maximum ‘Level 5’ restrictions with pubs and non-essential shops closed until December 1: Cabinet ministers made the decision at a meeting at Government Buildings in Dublin this evening (Monday). A formal announcement is expected later.
Level 5 is the most stringent under the Irish system and asks citizens to ‘stay at home, except to exercise within 5 kilometres of your home.’ Public gatherings, except for small numbers at funerals and weddings, are banned and only essential shops are allowed to stay open. Construction will also be allowed, but most non-essential retail, hairdressers, barbers and salons will have to close. The public will be asked to work from home except for essential workers, and pubs, restaurants and cafes will only be able to provide takeaways and deliveries. Tourism falls into a coma on the Costa del Sol: Malaga Airport passenger numbers were down by 9.5 million in the first eight months of this year and tourist accommodation lost 3.4 million guests.
Between January and August no more than 1.8 million visitors stayed in tourist accommodation, compared with the 5.2 million in 2019. Those 1.8 million visitors checked in for 6.5 million nights, far from the 20.5 million registered in the same period of 2019, according to figures from Spain’s National Institute of Statistics (INE) quoted by the Costa del Sol tourism authority.
And to get a better idea of the size of the disaster, for hotel accommodation, the 1.4 million visitors arriving in the first eight months of 2020 is the equivalent of the total for the month of March alone last year. BREXIT: From the UK Home Office via Twitter
European nationals have been warned that the rules to enter the UK will change in autumn next year, meaning ID cards will no longer be accepted at the border.
Britain’s Home Office has sent out a reminder to nationals of EU countries as well as Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway that from October 1st 2021 national identity cards will no longer be valid to enter the UK, and will only be able to enter the UK using their passport.

Users of pirate IPTV services in the UK and Ireland are most likely being monitored by one or more major ISPs: Secret traffic analysis, provided to the High Court in a recent blocking case involving UEFA, reveals that studies were carried out in connection with Sky which determined many subscribers were accessing pirate IPTV platforms via the ISP. It appears that in this matter, Sky or others acting on its behalf, have been monitoring the traffic of Sky subscribers who accessed the servers of pirate IPTV providers.
The onus is still on consumers to take action and protect themselves by, for instance, using a VPN or other such masking method.

DoctorLaptop’s Tips #82
-Android Mobile Device User Alert- If you have one of these devices be sure to keep Bluetooth turned off in Settings when you are not using Bluetooth functions. There are 3 significant Bluetooth vulnerabilities, known since 2018, that allow a nearby hacker to gain access to, and even take control of, your device. These have only been recently patched in the newest versions of Android that use Linux kernel versions 4.19.137 and 5.7.13. You can do a websearch for your Android version and check whick Linuz Kernel your version of Android uses. As always, the best advice for all Android (and Apple) users is to keep your devices fully updated; there are new updates every week. Windows users should lag 2 to 4 weeks behind new update releases before installing them due to their long history of releasing buggy updates.
-Websites preventing you from using “Back Arrow”, to go back to the previous screen? If you do a websearch and then click to open a link, on some websites like FakeBook and YouTube, you cannot then click the Back Arrow to return to the list of search results. They lock you onto their site! This is tantamount to digital kidnapping, telling MY browser to ignore a built in, primary function! The work-around is to know where your browser’s “History” button is located, they all have one. Then next time you find yourself in this situation, prevented from backing out of a website, click the History button, then double-click the top item on the list. You will go back to the previous screen

Spain will not ask for €70 billion of its share of EU recovery fund:
“This is a great agreement: we have secured €140 billion for Spain, of which €72.7 billion are in grants,” said Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, of the Socialist Party (PSOE), after leaders clinched a landmark deal aimed at pulling the European economy out of its Covid-induced coma.
Spain and other countries would rather focus on the grant aid that does not have to be returned, and ignore the rest of the available funds. This in turn poses the risk that the European stimulus package will end up far smaller in scope than expected, leading to a less vigorous recovery than desired. Inside Madrid’s “superspreader” underground parties: When you enter these parties you are told by the doorman, ‘If the police arrive, you say you didn’t pay to come and that you brought your own drink’. Like underground raves of old, invites are distributed with phone numbers only, you call to get the location just hours before the party starts.
Club owners are flouting coronavirus restrictions by setting up nighttime bars in tourist apartments where up to 100 youngsters gather without face masks.
