White Dove: A white dove appeared in my garden (Benamargosa camp) last Tues. Good condition, clearly used to people and semi-domesticated but won’t let us handle it. Am giving it bird seed but it has few roosting sites here and no shelter so am concerned about its survival. Can anyone help? Alice 0044 7871 436812 (WhatsApp)

Restrictions in Andalucía to continue until 10 December: The current restrictions in force in Andalucía to curb the spread of Covid-19 will remain basically unchanged until 10 December, although customers will now be able to pick up takeaways from bars and restaurants until 9.30pm.
The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, announced on Sunday that movement between municipalities will remain restricted to essential journeys (for work, education, appointments, etc.) throughout the region.
The night curfew will also remain as it is – 10pm to 7am.
Non-essential businesses will still have to close at 6pm although customers will be able to pick up takeaways from bars and restaurants until 9.30pm.
Another change is that shops will be able to sell toys until 8pm.

When can I move from one municipality to another?:
Movement between towns and villages across municipal boundaries is permitted in the following cases:
– To attend health centres, hospitals and other healthcare services.
– Work: to meet professional, business, insititutional or legal obligations.
– School: To go to school, college, university and other educational centres, including infant schools.
– Travelling home: to return to a habitual or family residence.
– Carers: To assist or care for the elderly, children, people with disabilities, or those especially vulnerable.
– To travel to banks, insurance offices or petrol stations in adjacent territories.
– For required or urgent procedures at public, judicial or notary institutions.
– Renovation of permits and official documentation, as well as other administrative procedures that cannot be postponed.
– To sit exams or official tests that cannot be postponed.
– In the case of a situation of necessity or force majeure.
– Any other activity of a similiar nature properly accredited.
If you need to cross a municipal border to carry out any of the above activities, you must be able to justify this when stopped by the security forces in order to avoid being fined. Source: http://www.surinenglish.com/local/202011/08/when-move-from-municipality-20201108181132.html

The new Spanish bank account fees you need to know about (and how to avoid them): Over the course of this year, Spain’s main banks have decided to toughen the conditions to access their so-called ‘free accounts’ and increase the fees for account holders who don’t meet the new requirements.
In simple terms, it’s a loyalty scheme that rewards the banks’ most active users by not charging them extra, while increasing commissions for those who aren’t considered an asset to these financial entities.
As unfair as this may seem, most of Spain’s big banks are on board with it: Santander, La Caixa, Bankia, BBVA, Bankinter, Sabadell, Unicaja, Abanca.
We’ll now go over what each of these financial entities is now charging for and how to sidestep these extra fees.
