I would like to recommend Tejidos Belen services in Torrox Costa: Situated in the block just up the steps next to The Plaza, with easy parking, this family business has been making cushions, curtains, blinds, and virtually anything from fabric for 20 years. They made roman blinds for me 15 years ago, still standing up well to the sun, and have just covered sofa cushions for me, completely renovating an ageing sofa. They have a reasonable stock of material but are also happy to work with whatever you supply. Also cut foam to size if you want to make your own items. Andalucía registers the highest number of new Covid cases in almost two months: Andalucía has registered a total of 2,590 new cases of coronavirus this Thursday, 8 April, higher than the 1,767 on Wednesday and it is the highest daily figure since 13 February, according to data from the Junta’s Ministry of Health, which has also recorded 17 deaths, some 21 fewer than the day before.

Covid Vaccination Hoax in Fuengirola and Mijas: {Translation} A new hoax spread through social networks, says that from the health centers of Fuengirola and Mijas communicate that people born between 1956 and 1958 can telephone to make an appointment for a vaccine against COVID-19 vaccine, AstraZeneca, and those born between 1942 and 1944 can request an appointment to be vaccinated with the vaccine Pfizer or Modern. Gastroenteritis outbreak is declared in the Axarquía with more than 80 cases: In Periana, especially for those in the village centre, is an “alarming” increase in gastroenteritis cases, with symptoms of fever, vomiting, diarrhoea and dizziness.
