MALAGA
The Transfusion Centre of Málaga only has the stock of blood for a day: {Translation} The Malaga Transfusion Centre is calling for urgent donations of blood from all blood groups. The acting director of the health institution, Gracia María García, reported this Sunday that the reserves are at a “low minimum”, with stocks for one day.
-She has therefore made an urgent appeal for citizens to donate blood in order to guarantee care for all patients who may need it. In Malaga, 250 donations are needed every day in order to maintain sufficient stock to cover all the demand in the hospitals.
-This is why García asked the public to donate at the Blood Transfusion Centre, located in the Civil Hospital, on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th, from 9.00 to 21.00 hours.
-On Tuesday 15th you can also donate at the mobile unit, which will be in Mijas Costa, next to Hipercor, from 10am to 2pm and from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. To attend this collection it will be necessary to make an appointment (Monday and Tuesday, from 9am to 2pm) by calling: 951034120/21.
-To be a donor you only need to be over 18 and under 65, weigh over 50 kilos and be in good health.
-For more information call: 951034100 and 95103410.

Google Chrome Browser Conning It’s Users? Mozilla Says Google’s New Ad Tech “FLoC” Doesn’t Protect User Privacy: Google’s upcoming plans to replace third-party cookies with a less invasive ad targeted mechanism have a number of issues that could defeat its privacy objectives and allow for significant linkability of user behavior, possibly even identifying individual users.
-Despite its promise to offer a greater degree of anonymity, Google’s proposals for Chrome have been met with stiff resistance from regulators, privacy advocates, publishers, and every major browser that uses the open-source Chromium project, including Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, and Microsoft Edge. “The worst aspect of FLoC is that it materially harms user privacy, under the guise of being privacy-friendly,” Brave said in April.
-The “privacy-safe ad targeting” method has also come under the scanner from the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which called FLoC a “terrible idea…that can lower the barrier to companies gathering information about users” the EFF said.

Android Users- Update Your Android System & All Apps Now: Multiple critical security flaws have been disclosed in Samsung’s pre-installed Android apps, which, if successfully exploited, could allow adversaries access to personal data without users’ consent and take control of the devices.
These bugs allow an attacker to access and edit the victim’s contacts, calls, SMS/MMS, install arbitrary apps with device administrator rights, or read and write arbitrary files on behalf of a system user which could change the device’s settings, says Sergey Toshin, founder of mobile security startup Oversecured. Three reasons you shouldn’t install the iOS 15 beta on your iPhone yet: A beta is called that because it’s not finished and there are bound to be issues. For example, the second beta of iOS 14.7 includes an issue that causes some iPhones to not recognize the SIM card inside the phone. Without a SIM card, your phone may as well be an iPod Touch.
Bugs and issues just like that will surely crop up in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. And even if they don’t completely stop you from using your iPhone or iPad, the bugs will still be annoying and could mean the difference between getting work done and reliably sending messages, or having a new paperweight. Israel’s Knesset convenes to vote on new government that will end Netanyahu’s rule: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s record 12-year hold on power was set to end on Sunday when parliament votes on a new government, ushering in an administration that has pledged to heal a nation bitterly divided over his departure.
Naftali Bennett, a hawkish hi-tech millionaire, was poised to replace him as head of a new government of unlikely allies that include left-wing, centrist and Arab legislators, which he cobbled together with opposition leader Yair Lapid. Running Appliances At Night To Save On Power Bill Can Be Risky: Most towns in Spain already have penalties set out in their by-laws for excessive noise overnight. In many places this even includes the use of electrical appliances like tumble dryers or washing machines.
These electrical appliances can exceed the limits which have been put in place to ensure that residents are able to rest peacefully at night.
In Malaga there are noise restrictions in place which prohibit: “any activity that disturbs the rest of others inside the home during the night, such as parties, games, dragging furniture and belongings, use of noisy electrical appliances, etc” as reported Malaga Hoy.
“I don’t rule out the possibility that there may be some isolated cases, but I don’t think it will be generalised, we’ll have to see what happens in the coming months”, explains Gemma del Corral, councillor for environmental sustainability. Despite this, she is clear in questioning the new electricity tariffs, pointing out that “they obviously do not incentivise or protect the right to rest, quite the opposite”.
(Note: Some sources are suggesting you should not run large appliances at night while you sleep, as these devices occasionally malfunction and can cause fires. If this happens when you are sleeping you will not be able to react as quickly as if you were awake. -Ed.)
