NOTICE!
Submissions for posting in sections below
must include this info or they will be returned !!!
Sender's First Name / Nearest Town

Note: You may additionally include a location to meet or pickup,
but your location is required in any case. If selling an item from a location different from where you reside, you must include both.
For example: "...Buyer collects in Nerja, John/Malaga"
Why? DigameXtra covers a large area. So, for example, readers in Motril are unlikely to make recommendations, or call about most for-sale items, if they know you are located in Coin. As for including both locations in for-sale posts, the buyer needs to know where to collect the item, but they will also want to know where you are from in case there is a problem. Your cooperation is appreciated.

MOONETTE – Organic Skincare for Mature Skin

We are a Torrox-based company specialising in the creation of formulae which help prevent premature skin ageing. We are committed to making effective products at affordable prices.
Your skin health matters to us. How you feed your skin is as important as how you feed your body. Why settle for anything less than natural and organic?
As our skin is the first layer of our defence against microbial infections, ultraviolet radiation and environmental contamination it plays a vital role in our health. As we grow older, however, our skin becomes thinner, wrinkled, and more sensitive; hence it requires the use of treatments containing specific ingredients to the care of treating mature skin.
Recognising this need we have created a range of formulae which help
-slow down ageing process by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
-improve facial complexion and eliminate blemishes.
At Moonette, we are passionate about health, beauty and plants. Your skin will benefit from the properties of botanic essential oils combined with a selection of nutrients for deep hydration, cell revitalization and antioxidant effect, all sourced from the finest natural ingredients with gorgeous fragrances.
Naturally, we care about our planet and feel the need to help reduce the sheer volumes of plastics waste that are generated daily around the globe. Presently, we are minimizing the usage of plastic materials in our production while seeking alternative forms of packaging. To help reduce pollution we are asking all local customers to recycle or reuse their Moonette skincare containers, and offering a small discount on future purchases to customers recycling containers.

Private Health Insurance Advice Needed: I had a heart attack approximately one and a half years ago. I have one stent fitted but I am exhausted most of the time, whereas before this incident i could work 10 hours a day. Now I can barely work and love working. The public system is struggling as we all know. I am now 70 years old and desperately need private health insurance. If there is anyone out there reading this and knows how I can get private health with this preexisting condition I would be most grateful. I am a Spanish citizen (I believe this should say resident, not citizen. -Ed.) from Ireland, if you can help me at all please contact me on 625210990 or holisticclinic@gmail.com. whatsapp is fine.

MALAGA

Malaga, on notice yellow by high temperatures and terral this Monday:
{Translation}
– Although August is now behind us, the heat refuses to leave the province of Malaga. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated a yellow warning for this Monday in the Costa del Sol and Valle del Guadalhorce area of the province of Malaga for high temperatures and terral. The alert will begin at 13:00 hours and will remain active until 20:59 hours on 5 September.
– For that day, temperatures are expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius, accompanied by land-based winds. In the capital it is expected to reach 35 degrees this Monday, as well as in other municipalities such as Estepona, Coín and Cártama.
– The mercury will be milder in coastal areas such as Marbella and Mijas, with a maximum of 31 degrees; and in the interior, where Antequera could also reach 31 degrees, but Ronda will not go above 29 degrees. ENERGY CRISIS

Russia announces indefinite suspension of EU gas deliveries- Russia blames the EU for the cessation of shipments of gas through the gas pipeline Nord Stream 1: {Translation}
– The Russian government has asserted that it is the European Union that must repair the Nord Stream 1 pipeline so that natural gas shipments to Germany can resume.
– “If the Europeans take this totally absurd decision and refuse to maintain their systems, or rather the systems belonging to Gazprom, it is not Gazprom’s fault, but the fault of the politicians who decide on sanctions,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, according to the Russian news agency Interfax.
– Peskov said it was the Europeans who are contractually obliged to maintain the systems of Russia’s state-owned Gazprom, which on Friday announced the immediate and indefinite suspension of gas deliveries due to a fault at a compressor station.
– Germany has disputed this reasoning, as has gas equipment manufacturer Siemens, and considers that such leaks are commonplace and do not require a halt to gas shipments. Thus, Berlin believes that Moscow has breached its contracts by ceasing shipments.
– However, Peskov has assured that Gazprom remains a reliable supplier. “These so-called politicians are causing their own citizens to die of heart attacks when they see the electricity bills. When it gets colder, the situation will be even worse,” he argued.
– As for the war in Ukraine, Peskov assured that Russia is ready to negotiate with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on how to meet Russia’s conditions for the end of the “special military operation”. These conditions remain the same. “Of course. The operation is underway. All objectives will be achieved,” he reiterated.

SPORTS

F1 News- Dutch Grand Prix- Max Verstappen wins home race to extend title lead:
– Max Verstappen’s serene march to a second title continued with a comfortable victory in an eventful Dutch Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver had to pass Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes after a late safety-car period to take his 10th win in 15 races this year to extend his lead to 109 points.
– Hamilton was left fuming after Mercedes failed to change his tyres during the caution period. That left him vulnerable and allowed team-mate George Russell and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc to pass him after the restart to take the other podium places. Hamilton, who briefly had slim hopes of a victory with about 20 laps to go, saw them evaporate in a situation remarkably similar to the way in which he lost his eighth world title in Abu Dhabi last year. He managed to hang on to fourth ahead of Red Bull’s Sergio Perez, Fernando Alonso’s Alpine and Lando Norris’ McLaren. Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz finished fifth on the road but was demoted to eighth after a five-second penalty for an unsafe pit stop release. Full article: https://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/62788082

TECH

Should I skip the iPhone 14 and buy the iPad 2022 instead? – How to keep access to Apple services when you no longer use an iPhone or Mac computer:
(In these tight economic times, new Apple products just cost too much for most people. For any new Apple device, there is a non-Apple device with similar specs, available for far less, sometimes half as much! Repair bills for Apple devices are much higher than for any other brand. Apple security may seem good while it is working correctly, and it is, but when it goes wrong, and you are locked out of your device, which is not uncommon, a security nightmare often ensues as you beg Apple Support to unblock you. This article provides a comprimise solution to this dilemma. -Ed.)
– The annual iPhone launch is always the most exciting event in mobile tech, and this year Apple is expected to drop the iPhone 14, alongside the iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
– It won’t be a revolutionary update, and not an entirely new design, more like some small tweaks and a feature boost. That’s why I’m more excited about the iPad 2022, likely about a month behind the new iPhones. Between the iPhone and the iPad, it’s Apple’s next tablet that I’m planning on buying. One of the more significant improvements is that the next base iPad is expected to feature a USB-C port.
– Once it’s launched, I’ll happily buy the basic new Apple iPad. I do like Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S tablets very much, but they are crazy expensive and don’t offer me the entrance to Apple’s ecosystem that I’m searching for.
– Why do I need an Apple device? I need a way back into the Apple ecosystem. I have no iPhone, no Macbook, and my kid commandeered my old iPad completely. The iPad isn’t friendly with multiple user accounts, and there’s no way I’m taking away his primary source of entertainment on our frequent and long car rides.
– I used Apple’s gear for many years, so now I need a way to access my stuff. I have years of photos saved up in iCloud. My music library started on iTunes, and I still have tracks there I can’t find on Spotify or elsewhere. I want to be able to play my games with all of my Apple Game Center progress saved. If I want to keep in touch with the life I stored on iCloud even though I no longer use an iPhone or MacBook for a variety of reasons. The iPad is the cheapest and best option for those looking to stay connected with Apple services.
