Transport Offer For Readers: I have a large van and I am popping over to the UK in October to bring some furniture back here. The van will be empty (apart from me) so if anyone would like to book some space in the van then let me know. I’m not a commercial haulage or removal company, this is just my personal van that I use for carrying crates of fruit.
I’ll be leaving Almunecar mid October and traveling to Santander to get
the ferry to Portsmouth. If anyone is interested then all I ask for in return is a contribution to the traveling costs, I’m not looking to make a profit on this. You would also need to arrange for someone to meet me in Portsmouth to receive the item(s) because I’m not traveling all over the place delivering stuff.
I won’t be held responsible for any breakages – I’m not providing
contents insurance or anything like that, if your items are valuable
then use a commercial company – two advertise regularly on this blog.
Obviously, I’m not prepared to take illegal items and will insist on
viewing everything beforehand.

Google loses challenge against EU antitrust decision, other probes loom: Google suffered one of its biggest setbacks on Wednesday when a top European court fined it 4.125 billion euros ($4.13 billion) for using its Android mobile operating system to thwart rivals, offering a precedent for other regulators to ratchet up pressure. The unit of U.S. tech giant Alphabet (GOOGL.O) had challenged an earlier ruling, but the decision was broadly upheld by the Europe’s second-highest court in Wednesday’s ruling and the fine was reduced only modestly from 4.34 billion euros.
