Exchanging AT for @, or dot for the period, is ok. If you use any other confusing spelling I will change it to this format, example At email d0T com. I’ve had complaints from readers who are having their post replies returned for incorrect email addresses. Every time, it is one of these bizarrely coded email address causing the problem.
-It confuses some readers and will prevent you getting replies.
-It will not prevent spammer email harvesting. Today’s Artificial Intelligence powered email harvesters are not fooled by these simple spelling tricks.
-If you get spam email, it is far more likely your email address was taken from your own email account provider or What’s App or Fakebook. These all get hacked regularly, and their employees often get caught selling email lists to bolster their incomes. Also, any free on-line service you use that has your email address very likely sells it; read the User Agreement fine print and you will often discover they admit “we may share your email with our partners”, that is the price of using the “free” service.
-These days it is SOP (standard operating proceedure) to make a second email account to use for public posting and receiving emails from strangers, seperate from their private account used for business and personal contacts.

Ice Cream Tasting Tour: Between September 10 and 27 the ice cream shops in Torrox are having a promotion called ‘Quédate helado en el Mejor Clima de Europa’. Ask for a registration card at the shop. Go to all the shops on the card to make a purchase and to get your card stamped. You must score them from one to five. You will pay €3 each. Completed cards can be submitted at the Tourism office before September 30. At that time you will receive a gift and will also enter the draw for six batches of two litres of ice cream each and €150 to spend in one of the restaurants in the municipality to be exchanged during the month of October 2020.

Recommendation- Pablo’s Restaurante: A friend and I went to Pablo’s for dinner Tuesday evening. We took a table on the large covered terrace. We both ordered the BBQ Brasilena buffet. We each received a plate of fries and another full dinner plate of salad with a very nice mustard vinagarette dressing. Then the chef brought over skewers of roasted beef and several cuts of pork, which he sliced off portions from, plus chicken wings, one meat at a time as we cleared our plates making space for the next offering. He must have made 7 trips to our table delivering meat. When we had our fill of meat, we were treated to slices of cinnimon spiced BBQ whole pineapple. We each had 2 bottles of San Miguel. Total bill for the 2 of us was only €27, and we each received a shot of liqueur when the bill was presented. I strongly suggest you give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Other menu items are pastas, steak, salads and more. I am looking forward to trying the fresh pasta with white clam sauce. The host/chef is a polyglot, speaking English, Spanish, German and Italian, (and maybe more?) and was very welcoming. Near the beach at BLQ 80, Torrox Costa, next door to the Greek Casita Restaurant. Authorities flip-flop on claim that there is community contagion in Malaga: Deputy Minister of Health, Catalina García is assuring that no community contagion exists in Malaga.
García acknowledges the high incidence of the virus in the province but affirms that it is not yet about community transmission, which would imply tougher control measures that could even reach partial confinements, as the counsellor Jesús Aguirre suggested a few days ago.

Coronavirus in England: Social gatherings of more than six people to be banned in England from Monday: The legal limit will be reduced from 30 in the prime minister’s biggest coronavirus crackdown since lockdown rules were eased.
What are the new rules?
From next Monday, any gathering of more than six people in England will be illegal, unless it meets one of a limited list of exemptions
This applies to gatherings both indoors and outdoors
The new rule does not apply to households or bubbles of more than six, or gatherings for work or education
Weddings, funerals, and organised team sports carried out in a COVID-secure way are also exempt
People will at first be fined £100, but this will double on each further repeat offence up to £3,200
The full list of exemptions will be revealed by the government before the law changes on Monday.
Pubs, restaurants and other hospitality businesses will also be forced to collect customers’ details to aid with contact tracing, Health Secretary Matt Hancock has said, instead of it just being voluntary.
