Andalusia adds 16 deaths from Covid-19 and 977 new infections in the last day: {Translated, updated 10SEP20, 14:26h } The declaration of 16 deaths by Covid-19 in the 24 hours prior to 7:00 am this Thursday, is the most relevant data in the daily report of the Ministry of Health on the impact of the coronavirus in the community. Seven of the deceased are from the province of Malaga, which continues to be the most affected in the community with more than 10,000 accumulated infections since the beginning of the pandemic.
Malaga (292 positives) contributed almost a third of the new infections of the day (977), the incidence in Almería rises again (156) and the rest of the provinces are kept in records similar to those of previous days. Thus, Seville counts 175 new cases, Cádiz, 119; Jaén, 91; Granada added 76 more infections, Córdoba 60 and Huelva, the province with the lowest incidence, only registered 8 confirmed positives.
With these data, Andalusia continues to be one of the three communities with the least impact of Covid-19 in Spain, with an incidence rate of 129 cases declared in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants
Of the total of new infections, 98 patients required hospitalization in the last day, 10 in the ICU. After the registration of discharges and discharges, there are 790 patients admitted with Covid , of which 113 require ICU beds. Hospital pressure continues, like infections, an irregular distribution with Malaga with 228 hospitalized and 31 patients in ICU, the most affected and Huelva, with 5 patients in hospitals and only 1 in ICU the least.
New shoots
The Ministry of Health and Families has reported this Thursday of 58 new outbreaks of the disease declared in the last week to which the trackers link 389 cases. By provinces, Malaga declared 125 infections in 16 new outbreaks, of which 10 are located in the Costa del Sol health district ; Seville investigates 9 outbreaks with 51 cases distributed throughout the province. Euro hits six-month high vs Pound, US dollar weakens: A fresh bout of Brexit jitters has sent the pound sliding this evening, while the euro has marched higher. Sterling has weakened against other major currencies, after relations between London and the EU worsened.
After a solid start to the day, it slumped after Brussels gave Boris Johnson three weeks to drop plans to break international law or the UK will face financial or trade sanctions. EU lawyers have ruled that Britain has already breached the withdrawal agreement by tabling the internal market bill, which removes Northern Ireland from the EU’s orbit. Maserati’s back! Legendary Italian brand releases its first supercar for 15 years with the £187,000 MC20 packing a top speed of 202mph and sporting butterfly doors: The Maserati MC20 will cost £187,230 and first UK deliveries will arrive before the middle of 2021.
It is inspired by the MC21 – the last supercar produced by the iconic Italian brand between 2004 and 2005.
The engine is an in-house-designed twin-turbo, twin-injection, V6 producing a massive 622bhp of power!
It goes from 0-62mph in under 3 secs and – thanks to a carbon construction – weighs the same as a Ford Focus.
The MC20 will be the first of 13 new Maseratis in the next 3 years to breathe life back into the brand under the guise of the new Stellantis group, formed by FCA and PSA. Full story: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/cars/article-8715575/Maserati-stunning-MC20-supercar-2021.html

RIP Diana Rigg: Diana Rigg, the Tony and Emmy winner who splashed into the world of television with her commanding turn as intelligence agent Emma Peel on “The Avengers” in the 1960s and played Lady Olenna Tyrell on “Game of Thrones” decades later, died Thursday at her home in England. She was 82 and had been recently diagnosed with cancer.
Rigg was a venerable figure in Britain’s entertainment industry who worked incessantly on stage, TV and film. She famously thumbed her nose at convention in her private life and in later years seemed to enjoy her status as a grande dame.
